That's all I want to see out of Garrett early on. I would like to see the first half consist of some early runs by Choice complimented by some short passes, perhaps even some quick slants to get Tony off of his snide and into the game early. Use MB3 only if you have to. Perhaps in goal line situations this game. Let Choice carry the load. Then, when they think you're going to gash them for another 7, hit one of our numerous targets on an intermediate route. Let them get some RAC... Leave the right armed punts at home and perform surgery with the intermediate routes where the receivers are able to catch & run.

If we mix in a good 50/50% of run and pass this game I just don't see anything less than a trip to the playoffs. Choice can handle it. Feed that young beast. Get him 25 carries & I am happier than a pea in a pod. Why? It's simple. He's a game breaker and out of those twenty five carries two or three are going to be game changing runs. Unleash the beast.

Maaan I couldn't agree with you more. I believe TC will eat them up on the ground. He has excellent vision, cuts well and has enough speed for big gains. Plus, our oline can push them around upfront. I bet JG feeds TC early and often..

I agree with you about establishing the run with Choice, but as for the short passes, I'd rather see screens and quick outs than slants. If we're throwing to Owens, that slant is just as risky as the go. He dropped two last week, that could have easily resulted in picks.

I bet we go to Witten alot this game. They have absolutely nobody to guard him in the middle of the field. Nobody!!!

Choice in the flat, Witten in the deep seam.

Those guys will catch the ball.

With Barber reportedly practicing more this week and feeling better, I'm hopeful that having two healthy backs will push RJ to the side of running more this game.

Sterling Sharpe mentioned this on Playbook and I completely and wholeheartedly agree.

We've had around 1100 yards of total offense the last three weeks and he's been nearly half of it or something insane like that.

The biggest mistake would be for Garrett to put the ball in Romo's erratic hands. Let Choice establish himself first. If we can run on the Steelers and Ravens, there is absolutely no reason we can't do it against the Eagles.

I agree. He's our best offensive player for the past month and our only consistent and Mr. Reliable besides Witten.

I know some will say otherwise, but even if Barber is healthy, Choice should start and play the vast majority of the snaps outside of the rare case of the I.

WOW! that sounds awesome. I can see it in my minds eye and I think it would be successful.

Turn out the lights on the Eagles.

He also had one of the worst games of his career against the Ravens because his blocking was abysmal. But it goes almost completely unnoticed.

I didnt think the blocking was that bad...on most of his bad plays, he had little or no rush on him

It certainly wasnt great and they did get beat by that same delayed blitz numerous times, but I thought Romo was bad more due to Romo himself than anything we didnt do up front or because of the Ravens D...

He needs to step it up this week. We cant win with him playing like he did vs Pittsburgh or Baltimore.

Werent you one of the guys blaming Romo's poor accuracy against Pittsburgh and New York on his finger and back? Yet in your glass half full world, Witten gets no leeway? Only enough room to protect Romo, eh?

Owens didn't help much either quiting on his routes and not fighting for the ball leading to 2 interceptions.

that's cause he doesn't talk and just plays hard. he doesn't quit on routes catches better than Owens and plays through injuries all the time.

Did I say that Witten gets no leeway?

I almost wonder if him playing through his injuries hurts us more than it helps us. I can trust Martellus to fill in, but I can't trust Brad Johnson.

This is a Tashard Choice / multiple receiving target thread. I know it's difficult but try to stay on track and keep your TO hate out of here.

LOL. He's nursing 12 injuries and he's supposed to be a great blocker as well as catching the TD's and third down passes?

Anyone who wants to start criticizing players should start with about 15 other players before Wittens name even shows up.

Oh please. Owens plays hurt all the time. Lets stop giving "the greatest tight end in the game" excuses.his injuries didn't make him run the wrong route against Pitt now did it?

And Rampage, you Owens agenda is funny. Owens didn't help much, he just scored the only touchdown in that game for us. Right on! Romo threw two dumb passes towards him.

And Owens talks and backs it up. Take a look at his stats for his career buddy. Jason Witten has never been and never will be the type of impact player TO is. Deal with it.

You can bring up TO drop against the Ravens all you want to but when a big game is on the line i haven't seen him fold. You can go back to the Seattle playoff game for more Witten blunders if you really want to.

I like Witten alot but the little side shots people on here give TO is getting tiresome. Dont act like Witten is Mr. Reliable and TO is just some over the hill has been. Witten is alot more replaceable than TO.
