A.J. Dillon to Eagles

I can't tell if you are being serious with this post or just trying to troll people.

If it's serious, it's a bizarre post.

Jerry signs bargain bin JAGs to one year deals and that's it. He doesn't bring in difference makers in FA. Dillon on a one year deal makes sense because he's insurance to Barkley, who by the way they signed on a long term deal out of FA, something we never do.

I honestly can't believe we are having this discussion, LOL.
Was not entirely serious. I even posted at times why all the 1 year deals every year.
But it was in response to a few posts about Jerry doing 1 year deals when other teams do multi year deals.
As I think the 1 year deal they were referring to, was the 1st 1 year deal they did.

There is a difference in giving credit, and posting constant dislike on everything your own team does.

I get there's varying posters and posts from each. Some may go overboard, or over dramatic.
But this team has just been tread-milling recently, IMO. We have our stars in their peak-or slow decline, and we have a front office that is happily staying the course that has resulted in 2-3 playoffs wins in a decade.

I would bet if the front office actually went a bit more aggressive this offseason like signing Ford, for example, it wouldn't of made everyone 100% happy but at least show fans they are willing to change it up.

I don't mind their moves for the most part, but they are staying with the status quo of looking at saving money and potential over talent. Quantity vs quality.

It is not really quantity over quality. They do need to fill roster spots. And they do need a lot of player everywhere.

So fans want a splash top name signing that may or may not be the answer at ONE position. Over, 5 or 6 players that add depth. And if surrounded by current staters that are good (yes we have those type of players more than some want to omit) will make all these players better. That is how it works in all levels of football.

It is not about saving money either. It is about creating what they feel is a good team, over all in one basket type thing (yes, much is going to the QB, but all teams or most are in that situation). All teams must spend within the NFL limits. I can't believe fans do not want to understand that in their dislike of this FO / team.

I am looking to this upcoming season, and not taking 28 years of frustration out on every single player move.
Do I wish they would have got a player like Ford, yes. But I am not having a worthless meltdown either. And no it is not blind acceptance. I rather save my energy of not liking it, and focus it on something I can control.
However, I understand if others do what they do.

Only one year. Where is the outrage.
I mean, Jerry signs players to one year deals and we get melt downs.
If Jerry builds a super bowl winning roster, no in fact, a NFC Conference game roster. I will not complain about1 year deals for 3 years...

There is the difference.
