I really liked the idea that the Chargers are going to let the fans vote the next Charge player into the Ring Of Honor.

Do the Cowboys do this, or is it just Jerry that makes that decision? From what I remember, Jerry does the picking.

It's JJ's decision end of the day.

And that is one of the things that I dislike about Jerry!

Who is he to tell what past great is going into the ROH?

Umm, the owner of the team, and as a result, the owner of the ROH?

jerry decides, no fan voting.

Can you imagine if we had guys like: Natrone Means and Bennett in our ring of honor? I mean do those guys even deserve to be listed on one lol

I understand that...but, wouldn't you like the chance to vote a past great into the ring?

But, it seems that Jerry sometime disregards our past accomplishments with some great players....

Now, if they elected Quincy Carter...you know maybe 1 or 2 fans might vote.

I just liked it when the Chargers let their fans get involved in the voting.

;)

I'd probably vote for players many never heard of.

Tex Schramm did the same thing.....

Yeah, but he was the first owner, right? He knew the whole greatness of those teams. Jerry does not seem to get that because he was not there.

I just think it would be something cool to do.

Get a sample vote from the fans, narrow it down to maybe five, then let the fans vote on them. And, only list players up until Jerry bought the team...no players after.

;)

Let Jerry offer up 5 players for voting and let the fans pick 1.

I guess when he feels like it....

Teams like SD need to do PR stunts to get attention and increase ticket sales.

Won't happen in Dallas.

Good point...

Did you see those yellow fliers on the seats for people to purchase?

They can't fill that stadium and Jerry can fill his?

You know your in a bad state of affairs when you have to bring your VP of sales into the broadcast booth for about 15 minutes to discuss your ticket packages. lol Oddly enough the cheapest season ticket package they offer is: $490, you can get season tickets for the Falcons for $280.

At least it wasn't the owner....

I don't like that it is only up to Mr. Jones but I sure as hell don't want fans deciding who gets in either.

Fan voting may not be such a good thing in my opinion. Unless you want players like Roy Williams 31 and Marion Barber III in the ring of honor.
