i'm just curious about the weeks of filming hard knocks...it seems to me that the crew knows a lot about the cowboys practices, formations, etc.

is anyone else concerned about this?

I honestly don't think that issue is in the NFL.

What does it matter when Strahan has been to our camp once and is now selling our most secret formations for 8mil? Magic Johnson was also at our camp so he is probably going right back to the Chargers with that info. The season is done! Fin!

But to answer your question... no, I am not concerned about it.

Back in the 90s, every team knew what plays the Cowboys were going to run; stopping them was another issue.

As to your original question, I seriously doubt anyone is going to risk not only their professional career but any legal ramifications that may stem from divulging information Jones and co. have certainly covered in a non-disclosure agreement. Then, the teams themselves have to weigh the benefits of buying such information against the penalty Goodell is certain to levy, which most likely would be much worse than New England received.

The teams can just watch HK like everyone else.

There is nothing to worry about here. They make money off getting to do these Hard Knocks series and if they were to turn around and sell information, on a one time deal, then their series would be over cause no team would ever be willing to allow them around again.

I'm sure, as well, that they probably have to sign something in the contracts, with the teams who agree to do this series, that prevents them from selling information without paying a hefty price if they're caught.

NFL Films has a longstanding reputation for not divulging team secrets. It is part of why they have such access to NFL teams.
