A loss to the Eagles on Sunday would put the Cowboys in some pretty bad historical company.

There are two teams who have yet to win a game at home this season. As we reach the double-digit week portion of the NFL season only the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys have lost every home game that they have played so far. It goes without saying that this is not a list that you want to be on.

Focusing on the Cowboys here, they have only lost three games at home this season specifically. If we date things back to last year and include the playoffs though, then that number grows to four thanks to the Green Bay Packers. This is the necessary context for the rest of our conversation.

As noted, the Cowboys have an active home game losing streak of four games. This is tied for the fourth-longest streak of such kind in franchise history with a few different other groups.

I have not thought the spaceship was a real big home field advantage but we have until this year been decent at home
last year ended badly and its kept on coming. At a certain point the team itself will start wondering

I won’t root for my team to lose; but Jerry getting embarrassed nationally would make it worth it.
You know if they come out and get humiliated on Sunday, JJ will just play the “everybody is hurt” card and call the season a mulligan.

I think he would like nothing more than Cooper Rush to suck and confirm to the world how badly this team needs Dak and how he was brilliant for signing him this offseason.

His nightmare would be that the team actually wins and plays well with Rush under center lol

Not only are the Cowboys 0-3 at home this season but they’ve gotten destroyed in two of those games. They were getting destroyed by the Ravens until they let up, allowing us to make a game of it at the end. Home field has been a huge disadvantage this season.
Wait - I thought that the narrative was that the Ravens DIDN'T let up and a certain somebody lead a major comeback that almost resulted in a big win.

Which is it, because I'm very confused by this. I believe what you said in your quote is what really happened, but that wasn't the narrative being tossed about by the stans.

What does it matter how they lost. They are 3-5 and your concern is how one of the losses looked lol?

Somehow our fan base puts our records of wins and losses different from the way the rest of the NFL and teams and other sports put it I mean seriously do you think the cincinnati bengals ....y lost what is their record right now? 4-6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think anybody is bragging about being four and six that is all that matters and I'm also hearing or should I say tired of hearing about how the Ravens let up the Ravens did not let up I watched that game nobody allows A-Team to get back close within three points with a field goal kicker like ours did not purposely give up the onside kick the Cowboys made their way back in and I'm tired of hearing about what garbage stats do or don't look like 'cause what if Washington would have lost that game on the Hail Mary none of their stats would have counted up to that point because it would have been garbage stats but because they caught that last ball by luck about all those stats and the right that game was played now is viewed as something great I mean there's a fine line bro

it's weird that when I watch The Mavericks get behind 23 points then they get within 13 points in the second-half and make it a close game and they almost come back and win but still lose by double digits nobody goes back and talks about how all those points that the players accumulated in that game were garbage points and it doesn't count because they lost and that somebody should go back and adjust all the points per games for games in which they tried to make a rampant comeback and then lost slightly but they all count if you come back and win none of that makes any sense no team in the NFL truly goes into a prevent defense unless they pull all their players they did not do that in the Ravens game their starters were still in there and they knew we were making a comeback they did not wave off the dogs or however you talk about that it's nonsense some games are like that but this particular game was not that way...

I mean neither was the San Francisco game I realized we got down early but I don't remember them pulling all their starters and then we making a comeback we tried to make the game close same.... the damn games they're a big giant L...

There are very few games in sports anymore where teams literally let up to a point where they pull their starters and then the game becomes close at the end and somebody says it was garbage stats we've seen way too many comebacks for teams to do that they know the danger in doing that...

I wonder how many home game embarrassments it'll take to start affecting home game ticket sales? Jerry would definitely not like that.
Ticket sales won't be affected. Season ticket holders will just sell them to the visiting teams. The stadium will no longer look like "home", but a sea of whatever teams' jerseys they are currently playing!!
