A Loss Would Be Disasterous

I just want to see a good, well-played game. If the Cowboys win, fine; if they don't, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it and I'm not going to mope around - life is good, anyway.

Way to early in the season to be thinking about or worrying about games that are one and two months down the line.

Not really.

It's against an AFC opponent and the Cowboys would be 2-2.

However, it is shocking to see people making comments such as: "We should win by double digits", with the way this defense has played.

Reminds of a Ticket caller a few days after the 2005 Rose Bowl, who said Mack Brown would have to win 5 more National Championships before he would be forgiven :laugh2: .

Fellas, I was checking out our schedule and a loss to Denver would be disasterous tommorow. At 2-2, this is our remaining schedule.

at Kansas City
Bye
Atlanta.........................possible loss
Seattle
at Philly........................possible loss
at Green Bay.................possible loss
Washington
Oakland
at Giants......................possible loss
San Diego.....................possible loss
at New Orleans..............possible loss
at Washingtn
Philly...........................possible loss

I count 7 games that could be possible losses. If we blow this game tommorow and drop to .500 on the year, then it is going to be a very rough road ahead of us to get to the playoffs.

Divisional games are always tough, so I wouldn't necessarily count the Washington games as "in the bag". Just sayin'.

Considering this team's recent history, I'm not sure any game is "in the bag" until the final gun sounds and it is over.
