There are very few playersn this team who have any value on the trade market. Ware certainly doesn't.

Romo, Dez and Lee are really the only players that would get you a decent return. Even Less's value is diminished due to injuries. None of them are going anywhere.

You are not going to build a winning team through trades. This isn't 1989 anymore. You need to draft and coach your way to a Super Bowl.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I am sure lots of teams are lining up to get a chance to pay a beaten up Ware.

I am so excited! I wonder how many first rounders we get!

Tyron Smith has the most trade value, imo. I wouldn't trade him though.

If I thought we could get Clowney, I'd trade our 1st and Ware. But I doubt that would be enough to do it.

Dallas doesnt have much trade bait. The guys that could fetch something worth anything are too valuable to get rid of or they just cost too much.

Ware and Miles Austin are my top 2 guys that I wanna see GONE. Ratliff was # 1...that wish came true. Now I hope its these 2 guys. And by the way, Jason Witten is nowhere close to being on my list of people I'd like to see as ex-Cowboys. Witten can stay as long as he wants.

I still think Claiborne could get us a 2nd round pick. The Browns got a 1st for Trent Richardson when I thought it was already clear that he was a bust.

I've written elsewhere that I think we might explore moving Carter for someone else's disappointment. If someone playing a 3-4 has a front 7 player -- a young guy who maybe played better when they went 4-3 - that might be a good fit.

The combination of cap hit and the fact that Ware would bring little in return essentially means that trading him is not only difficult, it would be counter productive.

How many guys do we need to trade to get Johnny Football? Line them up and send them. Get it done Jerry.

Lee's value is greatly dimished. His collegiate injuries were thot to be amalies but the NFL injuries have cemented an impression of chronic injuritis that any wise GM (obviously not Jerra) would think about twice before trading for Lee.

If I were a GM I'd look at Ware as a wise short-term investment but nothing beyond 2 years.

Out of all the guys over 30, only Tony Romo would have some trade value. The only way Dallas would remotely consider trading him, though, is if Jerry was ready to reload with youth at all the key positions, including QB. That would be unwise. They might be competitive with a blue-chip rookie QB but it is highly unlikely.

If I was the GM, I would not consider trading Romo unless there was a great chance that I could land one of the top three QBs in the 2014 draft as well as several high draft picks for Romo.

Draft picks are inexpensive under the current CBA. Teams must get production from draft picks to manage the cap. Giving up picks for veterans with big salaries is not a good idea.

If teams wanted to pay huge money to a player, they can just sign a free agent. Al Davis is dead and Jerry can't trade with himself.

Ware has zero trade value.

Witten still has value to the Cowboys and his contract is reasonable at 5M. He played almost 100 percent of the offensive snaps in 2013.

Don't understand trading your assets when they have their least value.

I think it makes more sense to give him the off season and see if he can come back and be productive, that would be worth more than we could get in a trade after such a crappy season for him.

Yeah, lets trade one of our best players for next to nothing. Great idea!
