I read today that the Cowboys lost D´Anthony Batiste to the Carolina Panthers. Don´t know about you, and I know that he played against second stringers, but this guy showed a lot of promise in preseason.

Also, it cannot be good that the Cowboys loose this player when they are about to play the Panthers; do you believe that some "obscure" purpose is involved? No way.............

This happens all the time...

A major loss? He was on the PS...I would not consider this major. BP and staff consider Proctor an apparent to the OG if we need one...

You are right, he was on the practice squad, but still, he showed a lot of hustle and quickness for a man his size; I did not believe that loosing Ron Stone was a major loss at the time (considering al the talent the Cowboys had) and he was a heck of a player for the Giants.

Now, do not get me wrong, I am not comparing Batiste with Stone; I am just concerned that we lost an interesting future component of the offensive line (and we certainly need numbers in the line); Hopefully I am wrong, but this guy will be a good guard unfortunately for other team.

There is nothing he can tell the Panthers that they already don't know, or can watch on film. If a NFL team is relying on that to get inside info, they need new coaches. At least for a player who was on the PS.

He may looked to have promise, but he was on the PS for a reason. He can be replaced next year.
