I wish Jerry would annually announce one of the homegames as a "homecoming" so we could see more gatherings of the Old School Cowboys, without requiring the death of one of those old Cowboys to prompt the gathering.
But if I did that, and Jerry implemented my suggestion, it would give me one less thing to complain about! You know, that is a great idea. Maybe you should send that in to Jerry.

Seriously, I might just do that. Or anyone could do it -- I don't claim it to be my idea.
Can Woody's Girl be the Homecoming Queen?
I wonder how popular it would be if Jerry held a competition (kinda like Miss America) to name a Cowboys Homecoming Queen annually, complete with college scholarship, stupid questions about world peace, and a useless talent competition? But I could go for the tiniest bikini contest! He could hold the finals during the last home pre-season game, to drum up more interest.
The winner would get to drink johnny walker blue in his luxury suite.
I'm glad it gets so much support among readers here. I think fans would support it, too -- but does Jerry? I get the feeling he thinks Cowboys history started in 1989.Interesting thought proposal...and it does resonate well with the remaining old players for the team as well.

Maybe it is just my memory but it seems every time they have some kind of half time celebration about the cowboys or Ring of Honor we wind up losing the game.
Don't know if it is actually true but it seems that way...and always on a prime time night game.
