This postseason loss is something that was imminent, since Dallas showed inconsistencies throughout the season, they could never beat strong teams. it was just a mirage of what the team could have been. Dak is not at the level of what they are paying him. and he won't be, Dak's big problem is that he doesn't define plays quickly, he doesn't throw quickly, he doesn't have that ability, he takes a lot of time and that's shooting himself in the foot. unfortunately there is no way to get rid of Dak, until before the 2024 season, so you will have to deal with the idea that Dak will be the QB until at least 2023. and due to the lousy contract Dak was given, financially the cowboys are very limited. The Cowboys have 23 free agents, including: Cedrick Wilson, Connor Williams, Carlos Watkins, Jayron Kazee, Randy Gregory, Malik Hooker, Michael Gallup, Dalton Schultz, Keanu Neal, etc. You practically have all your S in free agency, this is bad, apart from your 3rd and 4th receivers also free agents, and your best TE. and aside a titular G. In addition to the fact that two coaches can leave, a disaster is really coming.

In my opinion, as a plan I think they should try to sign at least Gregory, Schultz, Wilson, and at least 2 S from the list. put Dlaw as a candidate to be cut or transferred after June 1 to free up a lot of money. 19M this year and 21M next, Dlaw is good against the run, but more sacks are required, use Parson more as a header matcher pairing with Gregory, definitely a big DT is required, who can pressure, a tackling machine is required at LB, and a veteran CB who can mentor Diggs and Joseph, cut or transfer Anthony Brown to free up 5M. More money could be released if the cowboys transfer Zeke after June 1st, but it's highly unlikely.

The Cowboys need a good replacement for Connor Williams, and if possible another Center. to improve the offensive line. would be a priority. this draft is loaded with talent in the positions of need, OT, DE, CB, S eh they can even go for a QB in the first round with the 24th pick, why not?
In the coaching area a restructuring is required, I would like a new OC, even a HC with more character, it has been shown that soft HCs are not successful. I would like Quinn to stay, to give continuity to the defense.
Anyway, the Joneses have a lot to do, and they have to do their best, otherwise the next season will be a total disaster, with no hope of even reaching the playoffs.
