Hey, i was thinking and stuff while ago at the Old Settlers Reunion and Beer Hall Putsch Society when it occurred to me that Romo's legacy will be a lot similar to Danny White. Esecept Danny led his teams to more playoff games. So tony should be happy and stuff being compared to Danny White.

Nonetheeles ol Wilson got to the Super Bowel. correct me if need be, mein pal.

Actually, his running game and defense did. He didn't have a completion in the first half and almost won the Super Bowl, that tells you he isn't much of a contributor.

My only issue with Wilson, is sort of the same issue many writers had with Aikman, if he was ona another team and he was the only option could he shoulder the load. I love Aikman and I know many believe if he was on pass happy team his numbers would reflect that but sometimes you have to wonder.... I wish Wilson all the luck but right now he has all the goodwill of the fans, let him sign that huge contract and he will see that the expectations increase exponentially when you are being paid like a premiere passer.

He's no scrub, but he can't sniff Tom Brady's jock. What is up with you always purposely misspelling words? Doesn't that get tiring after a while?

Aikman did a lot more in his Super Bowl years than Russell Wilson.

Tony Romo isn't as good as Tom Brady and is better than Russell Wilson. Again, @GimmeTheBall! , why do you purposefully misspell words? If memory serves, Russell Wilson had Super Bowl #2 in hand, and got intercepted and lost the game.

Your are right. I just wish Tony had joined us to watch the Super Bowl at home.
He could half gifted game analysis and color watching Brady and Wilson in the Super Bowl. I tell you the food was good and the drinks good too.

I always se Romos 4th quarter comeback stats compared to Eli Manning- people need to realize that Romo has the same amount of comebacks as Eli while playing in about 16 fewer games due to injury.
Also, while Eli is very good at coming back in the 4th, he's even better at spending the first 3 quarters creating a comeback opportunity for his team, helping them fall behind with a passer rating that is actually below the league average.

1st-3rd Qtr since 2000
(min 1500 att)

1 Rodgers 106.6
2 PManning 100.6
3 Brees 97.8
4 Rivers 97.0
5 Brady 96.5
6 Romo 96.0

NFL avg 84.2

31 EManning 82.8

Peyton is 10th?

Please.

I can buy it. He can't keep buying illegal stem cells from Europe forever. He wasn't that good in the last half of the season.

If they snapped the ball directly to lynch would there be a difference in seattle's record? Thats primarily hyperbole. Valuewise wilson is good, but he doesnt belong anywhere on or near a list of best qbs.

I think thats why sea is playing hardball with wilson...i.d be nervous as heck giving him a 20 mil year deal. Want to see what he could do without a great defense.

I know this for a fact..he doesnt lead any tony romo led team to a SB

Wasn't that "good" is relative to the standard of play that people have come to expect from him.

64.9% completion percentage and a QB Rating of 90.3 with 15 TDs and 10 INTs is certainly not Peyton-esque, but it's far from bad.

There's simply no way to justify Manning at #10 when he's outproduced everyone else over the last few years. 67.7% completion, 14,800 yards, 131 TDs, and 36 INTs for a 3-year QB rating of 107.8 says that he's not the 10th best QB in the NFL.

If Peyton were to continue to play at his absolute worst then perhaps he's 10th best. IMO, he wouldn't play if he didn't think he couldn't perform.
