A Non-Zeke thread

So most have beating the "Pro-Zeke" conversations to death.. A Senario has had me teetering back and forth lately, so let me here your thoughts. If we are to assume Dallas will be drafting a RB at some point in this draft, And if Ramsey is the pick.. When exactly are we going to pick a RB? I believe Dallas is going DT/DE or even QB in the 2nd..so who? And what round do we draft him? Bonus: explain how that back compliments or differs from McFadden, Morris, & Dunbar.

I know. I know. I'm exhausted by all the draft talk, but can't seem to stop watching all the coverage lately. Just wish it was Thurs already, so we can then start predicting/projecting what all the new players are going to do for us and how stupid/great the pick was.. Smh. Why do I do this to myself?! Lol

I'm not touching Collins or Drake. Neither one of them could hold onto the football in college.

They coached Dixon at the Senior Bowl and brought in Perkins for a visit.

I like Perkins in the 4th if we can get him there. He has some shifty feet that'd be fun to watch at the second level behind this OL. He kinda reminds me of Lesean McCoy in that aspect.

Yeah I like Prosise too. He's bigger and faster than Perkins, although Perkins has more experience. I believe Prosise could initially help on Kick offs and obviously catch out the back field being an ex-Wr.. He's just all around more versatile. A back field of McFadden, Morris, Prosise, and Dunbar actually sounds great. Sign me up.

Third Rd targets-Booker, Prosise, Howard, Perkins and J.Williams in that order for me.

Booker is an all around type back, who is the third best back in the draft in my opinion...and not far behind Henry.

Prosise has the most upside after Elliott, he is similar to McFadden less polished, but stronger lower half.

Howard is a beast, will he avoid the injury bug?

Perkins is elusive, but is he a three down type player?

Williams, if healthy is very good. He has outstanding feet, great size and strong character. Problem I have is weather the foot is 100% healthy.

There should be no way some coach can't coach a TE or backup lineman, on either side of the ball, or lb to do the job Clutts did.

This non Zeke thread could of been put into the other 100 Zeke threads. Like it's been said. We have DMac and Morris.. Replacing a injured Dunbar with Perkins or Prosise rounds 3-5 is a better option. Next year is stacked with RB's. Prepare to be disappointed OSU homers..

yea, instead of talking about other RB's in a zeke thread, let's make a non zeke thread, dedicated to zeke and then spend 1/2 the thread saying we're not gonna talk about said zeke.

we've got mcfadden and morris - more "vets" will be available soon enough if any are needed. if we go zeke for the big haul, great. otherwise we've got enough to get us through a year w/o stacking a rb pick in there to make people happy we took an RB.

maybe i'll start a thread about our RB situation....
