we needed plaxico for this part of the season. we dont have the depth to overcome his loss. toomer s old, nixon is unproven, smith still has alot to prove. boss is a rookie, jacobs has been banged up and has not looked good since. I know we are going to make the playoffs. But I see us losing some games here down the stretch which will effect this teams confidence. and in the playoffs I think dallas is going to beat us at home. they are allready playing very well. by that point they will be an unstoppable force. just to much character on that dallas team. and its starting to show.

Hey guys-READ the BOLD print...IT'S OBVIOUS...SOME Zoner on here just set up a fake account to PLAY us!

Is that you Rampage? Is that you theebs?

The Giants are playing the best out of any team in the league right now - it is our challenge to first make the playoffs and then to elevate our level of play to match the Giants.

I am hoping we get a shot at the G-men in the playoffs - chance for redemption.

But, first things first. We need to scrape our way into the playoffs which means winning 3 out of the next 4.

the cowboys are going to steamroll into the playoffs, they will win out. I hope the giants dont meet the cowboys in the playoffs. I am rooting big time for the steelers tomorrow. But the cowboys will crush the steelers I'm affraid. they giants have had a soft schedule, and the recent negativity is to much. by the time you play us we will have to raise the lever of our play to match that of a truely great team. I just dont see it happening at that point. its your year...

Why, because he doesn't put Eli on a pedestal like every other Giants fan around? Newsflash, Eli on his best day doesn't have the talent Romo has on an average day. Unless you watch different games than the rest of us do.

:welcome: to The Zone. Don't mind the skepticism. These folks have had to deal with trolls for a few days. They're prepared for the other shoe to drop.

I like rival fans as long as they aren't obnoxious/trolls.

Gives me different spin and view on things.

Welcome to CZ! :D

Is this guy Lou Holtz?

The Giants wear the crown. They are the team to beat.

They are 11-1, and the Eagles don't have the answers.

Well he might be one of the fans like here, who always find negative about Cowboys :) If cowboys do beat Steelers then he might be right, if not, either he is a closet cowboys fan or one of those fans, who always the Glass half empty types, like we have here on the board.

Give me a break. You are no Giants fan. I haven't been here enough to know what Cowboy fan you are impersonating a Giants fan. No Giant fan right now has anything to complain about.

And we don't have the depth to deal with Burress' loss? We are 3-0 without him and have scored 104 points in those three games.

Give me a break. I'm done with this thread.

The Dallas Cowboys are in playoff mode right now. They are desperate, and they will play like it on Sunday. Tashard Choice will get the job done. After the Cowboys beat the Steelers on December 7, the Cowboys will show you that you will miss Burress and Umenyoira.

Who among your receivers will ever require a double team now?

Newman
Scandrick
Jenkins
Henry
Pacman

The Cowboys have a deep cupboard of cornerbacks who can man up with your receivers and allow the defense to shut your running game down. Burress was a big threat who required a whole lot of attention. Even if he wasn't putting up big numbers every game, he had to be accounted for. Furthermore, Burress let other receivers get favorable matchups.

DeMarcus Ware and Terence Newman will have a say in who wins the NFC. I will promise you that much. After we beat the Steelers. You are going to realize this fact.

Umenyiora? The Giants haven't missed him up to this point.

Actually, the Cowboys probably won't double team any of the WR's. That may cost them. Smith, Hixon, and/or Toomer are more than capable of making plays against defenses. See the Commanders game. But I will worry about the Eagles first.

I liked how Hixon was making plays early in the Skins game against a pretty darn good secondary.

If the Eagles think they can load up the box and just merely single cover their receivers, they're in for a rude awakening.
