Haha! You know, I just saw that post at the top of this page when I came on here. Right, I promise you here and now I will get up to Parkhead at some point this year. And to make you doubly happy I promise the photo will be better than the one at Ibrox. Can't say fairer than that can you?

that sounds very fair indeed.
can't believe you're going for a second year. it seems to be helping you as a photographer because not having a go at the beginning of the year photos but i reckon the more recent ones look more professional.
well done again on completing it.
i take neilston have been snowed off for the last wee while? thats the last two celtic away games i've been going to go to called off. saved me some money and beer drinking right enough which at this time of year is probably a good thing. looking forward to the rescheduled game at cappielow right enough.

Cheers mate, I think I've definitely improved too. Kinda why I'm going to continue with it.

Aye, we've not had a game for a wee while now. Can't see us having any in the near future either unless we get a mega thaw in the next week or two. Even then we'll be left with a waterlogged pitch!

Just to let you all know, the project has moved to a new home. My shiny new website can be found at www.elfyphotography.com so feel free to update, or indeed add it to, your bookmarks/favourites.

Cheers guys!

Alright guys?

Thought I'd post a wee update on the project. Since I was last on we've had a few still life shots, most notably a little cartoon type figure, the sunset over my local pub and me punching myself. I kid you not.

Great pics man!!!

I'm sure you've been asked before but what type of camera are you using?

I'm not a photographer but I love taking pictures and been wanting to get a nice camera for a while now. Can you recommend one for around $500-800 range? or would it be better to hold off and save a bit more money to purchase a more expensive/better camera?

Thanks!

Thanks very much. I'm using a Canon Rebel XT. It's a few years old now but an equivalent entry level DSLR these days would be something like the Rebel T1i which you could probably find for about $700/$800.

How's it going everyone?

Been a week or so since my last update. Since then we have had a couple of self portraits, a couple of dogs (one of which wasn't mine for a change!), some still life shots, some dinner being cooked and some wine being thrown around. Below is a taster, click on the photo to see the rest. As usual, all comments are welcomed.

Been a while eh?

What have you missed recently then? Well, in the last couple of weeks I have shot (in no particular order) one of those split personality/mirror reflection type shots, one of my Dad, one of my friend and my uncle, my iPod, the dog with a massive bone, a pint of cider, a pawprint on a CD made of waterdrops (why wouldn't I shoot that?!), St. Mirren Football Club's (soccer) stadium in the process of being demolished, me doing the dishes, a wee ball in my front garden, this creative effort from last night and of course loads more before them.

As usual, feel free to leave your comments and click on the photo to go and see the rest.

Hey all, not been on here in ages. If anyone is still interested, my photography project is still going - closing in on two years now. Here's a taster of some shots since I last posted here. Click on them to go and see them larger and maybe get a bit of the story behind them.
