I love Phillips. But his fist pump is about the weakest, goofiest sign of excitement I have ever seen.

Yet it is somewhat his signature fist pump.... reminds you of a young child that is just happy with his new toy.

He's smart. He's funny. And I like his approach.

Looks like he was a very good hire.

He is kind of round, soft, pudgy, cute, .. and we are all smiling when we talk about him.

But do you think all of that round soft pudginess would rub us the wrong way if we were losing?

And the problem with his fist pump, from a technical standpoint, is that he doesn't get his legs into it. He's gotta pump from his torso and his legs and then follow through.
