Minny's first play after we turned it over on downs, toss play that was fumbled. We had no one near the play. What was our D doing? If we were playing heads up with intensity, we would have had a chance at a recovery.

It was stupid Minny ran such a play in that situation. It was lazy we didn't have anyone close enough to make them pay for that stupidity.

You’d think they’d have a person or 2 ready to stop Dalvin Cook immediately right there, but nope. Not our inept defense.

The fact that DC for Dallas didn't adapt during the game and put more of an emphasis on stopping the run, especially that damn sweep, is mind boggling. No Theilen? I am taking my chances and stacking up. Diggs is no slouch, no doubt, and, well Rudolph, whom is still not a threat, but, other than that, who do the Vikings have at WR? Nobody. Adjustments should've been made, but, the coaching staff is only up to Madden 2005 so, it's still a process.

Don't judge that play by how the Cowboys run it. The Vikings executed that play the way its supposed to be executed. It a quick toss which give the ball to the RB in space. There was no time for anyone to get that far into the backfield. When Dallas runs that same play, its not a quick toss, its a slow developing option play and by the time Dak tosses it to Zeke, the defense has had time to react. The OL has to hold their blocks longer. That is what happened on that 3rd down toss to Zeke that lost 3 yards.

But at the same time, you make a good point. Our LBs do not fill holes or get penetration on those running pays. A few times Lawrence, Woods and Collins got penetration forcing the RB to alter the run but when that happened, there was no LB or safety to come up and make the stop. Our LBs play has been a serious deficiency in the losses, this year.

I saw a flash. If he put that ball on the ground I think one of our LBs was coming in. Depended the way the ball bounced.

I was asking that question all night long.

a lot of fans will be waking up to the fact the Cowboys need a flame thrower taken to them.

Not worthy of discussion. Assume the bobble didn't happen. Much larger issues.

Plays are not always what you remember when watching in real time.

The Cowboys have to hold the line on the play-side. If they start penetrating into the backfield play-side the problems stopping the run would get worse.

Their OLineman did a good job extending his arm into LVE without holding.

Quinn's fall looked really odd but he was not going to penetrate anyway.

Thompson #23 could have done better. Heath probably gets to Cook on that play.

Yes, why didn't the Dallas defense have anyone 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage immediately?

Obviously, any defense worth a darn has multiple guys deep in the backfield, inside and out, instantly.

Lazy they are not but in position that’s a different story. Marinelli has Everybody flying to the ball which is why we rotate so much...

Unless we had perfectly timed safety/corner blitz on that side, that's the best you'll get for a player in the backfield.
