I believe it's now OT. We just made Houston punt and are driving. Dez catches the ball and has the 1st down if he just falls forward but tries to do too much and goes backwards.
Anyways, it's now 3rd and a little over a yard. I'd say 1 and a half. And we come out in a jumbo package and jam it right down their throats for a good 3 yard gain. Last year, that's probably a shotgun set and either some delayed handoff or short pass. Where a lot can go wrong. And the OL has to block differently.
This time, you line up and let your good OL go straight forward and knock the defenders back. Their favorite thing to do.
It was a big play in the game. You definitely do not want to punt the ball back to Houston at that point where the next score of any kind wins.
