A Pleasant Surprise so far...

My biggest and most pleasant surprise this year has to be Andre Gurode.
IMO, right now he is one of our best 3 players at their respective positions, Terry Glenn and Roy being the others.
Going into this season and this past offseason, C was one of my biggest concerns because the interior of our OL was crushed all of last season.
Gurode has been outstanding so far, by far our best OL, and may be on pace for a ProBowl appearance.
We need to lock him up in a contract asap!

I can name big suprises all along the line. Gurode. Kosier. Columbo. All were big question marks before the season began. Props again to Matt Milan for not knowing what talent to keep as far as Detroit and Kosier is concerned.

I have really been impressed with the protection Bledsoe has had so far this season. Admittedly, the level of competition has been questionable at times, but last season, they didn't perform this well against anyone. This Philly game will be a true test. If they give Bledsoe time in a hostile environment like that, I will rest assured that this O line is the real deal. Just ask Haynesworth. Gurode blocked him so well, he had a nervous breakdown right there on the field.
