It would be hillarious of someone started a "Romosexual" fan club or if they reserved a section at Texas Stadium for the Romosexuals.:laugh1:

From what we saw Monday night Romo wont lock on just owens. I don't remember the last game that our QB went (or tried to atleast) to all our WRs and TEs. I was impressed with that alone.

As long as he progresses this season I will be a happy camper.

If nothing else, I think TO secretly really likes this move. I agree with TB - I remember that the two had pretty good chemistry. Plus, Romo isn't as attached to Terry Glenn - it is likely TO will get a bit more attention out there.

You know, thru six games TO has had the most opportunities of any Cowboys wideout. According to the folks at Stats Inc., Owens has been targeted 56 times, he's caught 28 (50%) and he's had 4 drops. Glenn, otoh, while only having 44 passes thrown his way, has caught 29 (65.9 %) and has only one drop.

Anybody else think maybe Romo should become attached to Glenn?

What we find out now is whether we have glitz or substance. All the smiling, the back slapping, the jumping around, the unbuckling of the chin strap, the confident winks, are EASY to do when you stand on the sidelines. All that superficial stuff will wear thin real quickly if he doesn't actually perform. Moxie without performance and wins = foolish overconfidence.

I believe we have to be patient. I believe he will have his share of struggles this year. I am GLAD he's playing. But I'm also anxiously watching to see if he can actually be an everydown NFL QB. I'm waiting to see what happens when they game plan for him, and try to expose what they believe to be his weaknesses. So this will be a fun 10 weeks.

:laugh2: I'm tired. This cracked me up. The unbuckling of the chin strap. Hilarious.

cmon SP ;), you've seen it, the little Favre like unbuckle, the one string of the chin strap constantly sticking out! ;), it's all part of the MOXIE.

I agree with you completely. Owens has probably the 3rd best hands on the team. Glenn and Crayton are much better hanging on to the ball. Owens gets far more yards after the catch when getting the ball underneath and in tight coverage, but he drops more balls too.

He should definitely get his share thrown to him, but not at the exclusion of Glenn, Witten, etc.

TO is probably a good person to have romo throwing the ball too.

assuming he doesn't start screwing it up all the time.

Style wise, I do think it's a good fit.

If you really wanna analize, just look at Romo at the LOS. He gets to the LOS pretty quick, and he's constantly looking around for would be blitzers and barking out instructions on coverage, and changes in routes. That alone I love about Romo.

Atleast from my view, I know that he's aware of the blitz coming. Parcells must tell all the receivers to be ready to catch the ball, because Romo goes all over the field. Even if the play is not designed for you, be ready and look up, even the backs because when he's in trouble, he's looking for anyone to throw it too.

I love the title of this thread, it's exactly how I feel!

Whether Romo flops or excels, it's exciting to watch. To me, nothing is as fun as watching young players grow together, even with their struggles at times.

Just say no to retreads at the QB position. It's argubly the most important position on the field.
