Nope, Irvin and Deion were hurt in the panther game, and the offense wasn't very good that year, I think Green Bay woulda won something like 28-13

Just finished up watching the '95 NFC Championship game that they replayed on NFL Network. I forgot about that blocked punt in the 1st qtr of that game. Man how the game has changed since then. Anyway, ya'll had a good ballclub back then.

I don't think we would have beaten ya'll a year later had we beaten the Panthers. As mentioned, we got banged up in that game.

Green Bay would have won in '96 unless something weird happened. They were the better team then. Dallas was on the express elevator to post Jimmy hell in 1996.

After the 96 season, things started to unravel. More FA hits, careers going down, players getting older, injuries, all the normal stuff taking it's toll. No Jimmy, other coaches leaving. Jerry in his proving anyone can coach the team mode.

But as for beating GB in GB, I don't think they could have done it. Even if all healthy. But it could have been a good game. This was the time for GB to finally get there wins.
Like right now, I think Dallas and GB will be in the thick of it all again for a few years, if all stay healthy. And if our D can step up against your O. I have no issues with our O against your D.

We actually play the Packers in Dallas? When does that ever happen?

But to answer the question, no they would have been obliterated. As it was, Packers fans simply had to wait until the next season to beat the tar out of Dallas.

Its still a good rivalry and we have stood toe-to-toe with them since day one. No even though I believe we we beat you guys in the regular season. You guys had the better and we beat up on you guys in the Jimmy Johnson/ early Farve years and I could see that Packers team in 1996 coming out for blood
