Hi everyone,

I was curious to know how many out-of-state folks bought seats (and the freakin' PSL's!) in the new stadium?

I opted out: They moved my seats to a location in the new stadium that I wasn't happy with (section 423) and I just can't justify paying $4000.00 for each PSL. If I lived local I might have considered it.

I have good friends in Irving and know a few folks there who book Cowboys travel packages and they all seem to feel that I should wait till the dust settles in a year or two--tickets WILL be available and many of them could be non-PSL seats.

I am not out of state but if you dont like the seats they assigned you call your ticket agent and tell them you want a seat upgrade form. You can then request seats in different section. I was told in august they will allow me to pick out the seat I want.

the 18th is the deadline for current ticketholders to secure their seats or sign an upgrade form. then everyone has a chance to buy seats who bought a reservation on the waiting list.

I am hoping to get down about the 10 yard line in the second level.

is there any way possible to purchase season tickets without having to pay the PSL? I inquired about the season tickets in the club level and they are all 30k and above. Initially I was completely against the idea, however, I justified it to myself by saying its similar to purchasing a new vehicle. I am 100% certain id have more fun attending cowboys games for the rest of my life than purchasing a new car lol. With that said, I would still like to find a way to not have to pay the 30k, any ideas?

you dont have to buy a club seat. There are upper level seats that have no psl.

There are seats with psl's of 5,4 and 2000. there are some really great seats for those prices also.

and the other thing. All you have to pay right now is 25% of 50% of the psl. You will then be enrolled in a 30 year payment plan. You will have to make your payment by march 1 2009 every year. For instance if you buy 1 seat with a 5000 dollar seat license I think it ends up that you have to pay 129 once a year before march 1.

then of course pay for your tickets!!!

Hmmm...that's interesting that they extended the deadline. I guess I shouldn't be surprised--I heard that alot of folks that had lower level seats in Texas Stadium now can't afford them in the new stadium: they want the upper deck seats with the cheaper PSLs...

There is no way they can be selling as well as I was told by my sales rep: What--is the economy thriving in the DFW area? Is gas only 99 cents a gallon in Dallas?

Worst case scenario for Jerry Jones is that the Cowboys have a bad year. How the heck is gonna fill that new stadium? I understand it will be the 'newness' of it that will be a draw but if our 'Boys don't win the Super Bowl next year I can't see Jerry selling out the stadium when say, the Lions or Cardinals come to town.

But who knows? It's just my two cents!
