"The energy for our team comes from Jason Garrett," Ryan offered. "The biggest juice for this team comes from Jason. He's smart, he knows how to lead.

"That's where I get my juice from."

Just found that interesting......

This came from an article on dc.com. The Mickey Spagnola write up. I don't know how to do the embed thing, my bad.

IRVING, Texas - Last year after eight games, the Dallas Cowboys were a stale football team.
No added juice.
They were 1-7, and basically the same team they were in 2009 when they went 11-5 and actually won a playoff game. But in the NFL, as I've said many times, if you're not getting better - adding significant talent - then you are getting worse. Standing pat is a sin.

There you go. :)

BTW: Thanks for posting this!

I think he's just saying Garrett has the steroid connection.

A qoute from Ryan in a interview on DALLASCOWBOYS.COM that caught my ear, he mentioned how Shannahan use to run the score up on him when he was a young DC. I think RR is anxious to play him...

Actually, I think he's anxious every week. Not sure what your point is but the Foreskins don't have the talent as Philly does and he isn't even close..

I nice to read these type things. It's important that Ryan is a good soldier.

As much as I liked the hire, there was a part of me that worried he may have a little too much of Ryan Sr in him. Buddy was a good football coach but he had some serious character flaws. Too much of a self promoting me me guy. Look at me, it's all about me and why aren't I the HC.

He hated getting passed over for the Bears HC position and was flat out insubordinate at times under Ditka.

IMO Ryan has a few more skins on the wall than Garrett. Good to see he's at peace with his role and not looking to pull any Ryan Sr BS.
