Dak fans' quest to downplay the importance of the QB position to protect Dak is fruitless.

There are too many actual Cowboys fans here to let them even make a dent in that quest.

You hit the nail on the head specifying Jerry Jones. He decided Dak Prescott would be his franchise quarterback in 2016. Since then, he has twice reaffirmed his commitment to his franchise quarterback with league-breaking contract extensions. In my opinion, Jones has transparently demonstrated his backing of Prescott is 180 degrees opposite that of his quarterback's most ardent critics.

Then you add 'and fans'. This is an incorrect generalization that could easily be 100% right (despite accounting for the actual number for 4,000 passing yards career seasons) by adding one simple adjective:

'Some'. As in 'and some fans'.

Please. Put. The. Coffee. Cups. Down.

You are the second member recently who should get a The Princess Bride quote thrown at them. For future reference:

Doing 360 degrees would take a person in a complete circle. In terms of how someone thinks, it means someone doing 360 degrees would not change their opinion.

Like I said you don't have to root or like the guy. Let's don't pretend like its either or. You have reputable posters here who can tell you why they dislike Dak and can do it respectfully. These type of threads are done to trigger fans. That's all it is.

"I think Dak sucks because of his poor footwork and accuracy" is what I consider respectable.
"Dak sucks"....not really constructive criticism......

Well next time make sure i'm the 1st, I'm the jealous type!! Yeah that's asking too much for someone who's the league's highest paid, you guys set the bar too low for this guy! Oh dear Lord I forgot, he was only a 4th round qb, we should be gentle with him

Tony Pollard, Jaylen Smith, Nick Folk, Amari Cooper and even Jason Witten were all All Pro Cowboys who were all shown the door! Prescott should be on this list because he's an overpaid, over hyped, less than mediocre QB in the NFL. His stats are all over blown, and quite frankly a joke, because when it comes to competing against some of the best in the NFL, Prescott melts like a piece of ice in hot water. Time to move on from this mess......................

I don't like Dak because he's our starting QB, has been our starting QB for going on 10 seasons, and he's not advanced past the 2nd round in the playoffs. He has the tools to get us through the season TO the playoffs, but not past it!

All you heard on this was (hate hate hate hate I hate dak I hate dak hate hate hate) hate is a strong word, I hate only people that do things to other individuals that they shouldn't (which I won't comment on to respect the rules), someone playing football I DON'T hate believe it or not :rolleyes:
