Im always thinking of playoffs and a SB birth. Not having Tony, Dez and Scandrick has really put a damper on that, though. BUT!!! I will not let my fanaticism go gently into that good night... no sir!!! I will cheer and remain optimistic until its mathematically impossible to make the playoffs... and thats a LONG WAYS AWAY! Gotta keep on keepin' on. Lets see what Cassel can do. Lets see what Collins along with Cmike can do.

If we play football and run the ball like we did last season I believe we can salvage the season. We don't necessarily have to have the success running the ball but playing the field position game, playing solid defense, using time of possession, and protecting the qb is where it's at IMO. We're only 5 games in there's no reason to give up just yet.

1. Some of us retain hopes for the playoffs (even the Super Bowl)
2. Other rough and clearer headed mens are still hoping for wins . . . but if not, thinking . . . DRAFT!

How manys mens here are thinking one of either? How many are thinking about Joely Richardson (I saw her first!) or a free cruise like the man said in the phone voicemail at the rec center?

I ax because we really really needs a QB to groom and as RB to carry us the way Murray did last year. A durable, Emmitt-like banger.

Believe it or not, at this moment, I'm simply thinking Giants. If the Cowboys can own the series against the Giants, who very well could be the other team to beat in the NFCE, then I'll feel a whole lot better about their chances. The draft is truly the furthest thing from my mind...if for no other reason than the fact that they never draft who I want...either because who I want is taken before the Cowboys can or because the Cowboys grade my pet cats differently from me. Call it periodic collegiate blindness.

Didn't see Overalls Branch when I flew into DFW last October! I think it is a myth that, that even exist. But just in case I pick #1.

Well, that loss to the Saints doesn't look so bad after seeing them dismantle a good Falcons team... On the flip side, it would have been better if Atlanta had won, now the Saints are back in the WC mix and hold the tie-breaker against us... It probably won't matter, but still, every game for me must be viewed through the scope of how it could potentially impact the Cowboys.
