What gets me even if you don't think Romo is a top 5 QB you can't just pick up the phone and get a guy who you believe is. Romo in my view has what it takes to help this team to a championship but it is going to take a team to step up and win.

So that explains a lot.
You must be the guy at the farmers market talking to himself and occasionally talking to the cabbage.
The lore of DallasEast, enemy of the Englitch language, lives.

Definitely a new and thread-worthy topic.

that was gonna be my mildly caustic response. but you had to go ruint it.
In my hood, we know how to deal with people who speak up fast and ruint it for others. I feel like you should go live in Carrollton and then come back to Farmers Branch (god's country cause the lord he looks after the feeble-minded) when you are ready to behave like an adolt.

OK, next time wait for me to respond and then offer your response. Amd, then, one day, if I feel like it, I will pass on the mantle of great knowledge to you, homes.

He is really damn good. I look forward to the day when he can be healthy the whole season and maybe win his second playoff game.

This is really the bottom line. It doesn't require Montana or Manning or Brady to win it all - MUCH lesser QB's have done it, as well as much lesser QB's than Romo. Obviously it helps to have a guy like that, but it's certainly not as if Romo is bottom of the barrel either. He may not be top 5, but he is certainly well above average and easily at a level that it would be very difficult to replace him. QB's at Romo's level don't grow in trees, and you can't pick them up at the market.

Once we get a defense thats more consistant and can make timely stops we will win a SB WIT TONY ROMO!!! How many times hv romo and th o got us a lead late n games and def gv it right back up on the nxt drive!!! #frustrating, but people say its romo..... Its the def, we shld b real ggod on def this yr

Seems if you’re not a top 5 in some people mind then you not a very good player. In my view I think he has the skill to be a top 5 QB but we have got to do a better job of giving him a pocket to work out of.

When we can give Romo adequate protection he has produced big. Problem is when facing teams who know how to bring the rush our line has not stepped up to the challenge.

Right now Romo is forced to improvise too much and while he gets away with it much of the time it becomes much harder as you face off with the best teams

It wasn't long ago that people were talking about him as possibly a top 5 QB. I personally am not quite as sold on Romo as some, but I'm certainly not as down on Romo as a lot. I think he is a top 10 QB, and if things were to come together a little better like you talk about he could step up the ladder some. Bottom line is a recognize you can't just go out and replace him. I'm all for grooming someone, but to talk about replacing Romo quickly is nuts.
