This is for all the people that complain about this and all that I have tried to get them understand this.

Yes, a sports franchise is definitely considered a business. Professional sports teams operate as commercial enterprises that generate revenue through ticket sales, sponsorships, broadcasting rights, merchandise, and more. Even though they provide entertainment and community value, their primary goal is profitability and financial growth, just like any other business.

This team is nothing but a business caring more about making money more than the things that could actually bring them more money!!! But when you're winning making money and losing, why not stop being a business! Football is second, marketing and business come first

You can now buy stock shares in the Atlanta Braves.
Madison Square Gardens has been a stock for years.

I think a soccer team in England has stocks as well, Manchester maybe?

They must make money to stay in business first and foremost.
So fans, even the ones that do not like anything about the team and root for them to lose. can come in here and complain.

Their are different parts to the business for sure, and as the Owner/GM, Jerry is the only who gets to decide what success looks like.

Id do the Captain Obvious meme but somehow that would be understating this. Was this post necessary? Dont answer, its "no"

That is professional sports. Winning doesn't matter. Making money is all that matters. Fans struggle with that fact.

Winning makes even more money.

Fans struggle admitting the GM is an idiot.
I used to believe that winning means more money. But when you have a fan base that is far too loyal and another larger fan base that loves to watch you fail thst is just not true any longer. Yes our GM is an idiot. Not sure there are many fans that have a hard time admitting that.

Hosting home playoff games makes more money than not playing. Winning sells more merch. The huge fan base that dislikes the Cowboys, are not buying Cowboys merch.

Wow. It almost seems that some in here are saying...."yea we havent sniffed an NFCCG in 30 years but dont demean my beloved cowboys because look how much money the team makes...so we are successful".

i hope im misinterpreting it because this would be a sad way of defending a team that cant get out of its own way.

It is a sad excuse, trying to justify they are losing to make more money. It is absurd.

Jerry is trying to win, he is just clueless on how to do it.
