Aren’t both of the Eagles CB”s FA’s?

Seeing how our fans on here are infatuated with anything the Eagles FO does.

Could be yeah.

The mocks I’ve briefly looked at had a ton of corners in that late first range.

They aren’t hesitant at all to invest heavily at CB, it’s part of that proven winning formula.
I really like Porter but don’t think he falls that far. Ringo looks interesting too

I think it's Bland who gives us flexibility.
Bland as our #2, especially coming into his second season, would not be a bad thing at all. On the other hand, if a good outside CB falls to us in the draft, moving Bland to the slot would be ideal, and would allow us to cut Lewis and save 5 mil on the cap.
Bland is going to play the slot regardless, he will will just line up outside whenever we go 4 DB's

Mukuamu impresses me as always being right around the receiver the pass the play right there. As Dallas was giving tryouts to out of work Colts and Vikings to try and fill the loss of Brown & Lewis # 24 was right inside the Star waiting to go.

I think Dallas always saw him as Hookers replacement at safety at some point but it would make it simple to start Mukuamu on the outside opposite Diggs with Bland your slot DB. If both Brown and Lewis can come back fine , Dallas has depth . This is year 3 , time for # 24 to be a starting NFL DB.
Bland played outside with Mukuamu inside.

We have not seen Mukuamu at outside CB.

They cannot go into camp with Mukuamu in the top 3 options at CB with Diggs and Bland.

Worst case: Diggs/Bland outside with Lewis inside (Mukuamu can then compete in camp/preseason).

Preferred: Early draft pick at CB and/or legit free agent.

Starter will be bland, and Lewis will be the slot in 2023. Muku imo will most likely take Wilson's spot.
Is it a foregone conclusion that Wilson is gone? Not trying to start the typical argument I see here lately, just really haven't heard definitive word on the that. If that's the case, I'd be bummed cuz having Wilson and Kearse on the field at the same time was fairly comforting as a fan, and I'm sure fairly uncomfortable for the opposing team.

Sign a league average vet and draft one early. CB class is loaded.

Keep Bland in the slot.

You can't sign everybody. He made himself some money the way he played when he got back from injury

I’m also not opposed to tagging Diggs and letting him walk if we hit on a solid WR this year.

He’s gonna demand top 3ish money and just don’t think he’s that dude.

Wilson played over 50% of his snaps in the box because he’s a strong tackler and blitzer…that’s not Mukuamu’s game. I don’t think they are interchangeable at all. If there is a “next up” on the roster to replace Wilson I think Bell is the more likely candidate

Why would it be Mukuamu at the other CB role .. instead DaRon Bland ?

Forgot about bell. The amount of depth this team has built is crazy. I also think letting go of a couple dl is good. You can have too many. You can sub a little too much. I think Quinn sometimes takes the Def out of rhythm at times with his scheduled rotations. This too gets used against them as team will run on this Def religiously when Quinn goes with his small dl. And will stubbornly Leave them in.
