Interesting pick that high. I really like barmore, but a bit of a disappointing season. When he’s on though he is soooo good.

Yeah, players and coaches play to win, GMs tank. A GM can make it harder to win by trading away good players for picks. But the coaching staff and players play to win.

Besides, tanking gets mixed results. Where has it gotten the Jets over the years? Miami on the other hand has made a complete 180 from just a year ago. And two more first rounders this year.

I'm not a tanking type. Can't count on the first round in the draft to get a dream player like ordering a burger. If you do, what are the odds that he will be a complete raging success who starts day one? Or doesn't end up being injured all the time?
We weren't even counting on Cee Dee - he just fell to us.

The Cowboys don’t have a rich history of taking DBs in the first round but it’s certainly not a position that can be ignored anymore. Hell - I’d probably draft 10 or 11 DBs this year and hope 2 or 3 turn out to be really good, won’t happen but we desperately need to fix this defense and it starts w/ the back half.

And offensive lineman are like DB's these days, its impossible to have too many of them. So with the 9th pick in the draft, the Cowboys trade back to pick number 16. The Cowboys then select OT/OG Alex Leatherwood from Alabama.

IS fake its fan term players and coaches play to win even though it seems lie they are tanking they are not..


i was irritated about that LOL win is win killing he tank crowd though we dropped from 4 to 8 in the draft,. however the tanker say teams are tanking how does that explain the jets beating the rams of all teams? a playoff team..hmm tank is not real. teams are just that bad most weeks

BTW far to early to fill in those blanks i want to see the combine, off season draft workouts, new mocks and etc etc to see what stud defender we grab, most likely we are picking 10..wwe can use any defender so the very best defensive player at 10 is cool with me..if the owner aint tripping , the n we cool LOL

No way they pick OL i disagree..defenders defender defenders. If the recent games prove anything is we have the depth on the current roster to cover the entire OL when your starters all come back,.,.you cant have too man but you dont use high draft pick on one when you are loaded and need defense..plus Philbns our best OL coach since Callahan..he has this covered..

I think the team keeps it simple and drafts the BPA at pick 11.
My guess is that player is Caleb Farley, CB2.
But this draft season is bananas as some of these kids haven't played football since LAST December.

its so obvious Jerry and Stephen with the help on MM and staff will find one. Around 10 its not reach now should be sold pick at top 10 spot in every round..

teams do it differently and struggle the way some teams have defense cant generate any offense at all..some have strong offense and no defense..look around the league this isnt Jerrys way most teams are far better on offense with rules and players ready out of college the offensive number are WAY UP..Looks lie even Belechek has issues his weakness is finding skill players on Offense , i mean really most of them with TB gone NO WRs, OL is weak, those RBs who this pace say any rb with volume can be good are WRONG..they had nearly no offense this year and it cost them..teams like us exist more then the ones with strong defense..the NFL is turning into college game..Big 12 well look around players coming from college most are offensive systems..games are 34-30 most of the time..

they tried getting defenders, they simply didnt work out..
