Yep, I wish we had the confident focused Kubiak and his 31-33 record.

The OP FAILs.

The "self-assured" Kubiak what a joke :lmao2: this guy's job is hanging by a thread and he needs every win he can get despite the pre or postseason lol.....

The wimpy old man everyone pokes fun at has two division championships and is what... 34-17?

Look it's ok to be concerned but Gary Kubiak couldn't carry Wade's Depends.

Wow.
OK, you think Wade has done gud. I hope he exceeds your expectations even more. . . .

Only thing is that there was no game plan.

Until then it is what it is. A preseason loss.

If we go by preseason I guess Indy, the Jets, and Dallas are screwed.

Lets just hand the trophy to San Francisco right now. Makes sense since preseason means so much
You're the type of person that will say: "well, it's just pre-season". Then in week three you'll say: "well, it's just week three, there are still 13 more weeks left".

When the hell do you just sit back and admit that this team has an issue. When is "bad" going to be "bad" enough.

1)Tony Romo was injured. (He's not)
2) The game counted (it didn't)

Hey feller whatg is the mascot of the Universe of North Texas? I was trying to think of it the other day when I was throwing darts and could not recall. I guess I can look it up on the internets.

Eagles

Mean Green

Mean Green Eagles

We have multiple-personalities.

All I can say is that I am glad that we had this pitiful game while it's still preseason. Get them out now. Because we all know, even the coaches and the players, that the Cowboys are a much better team than the one that trotted out there at Reliant Stadium Saturday night.

As expected, there are a lot of worried threads and posts. Because after all, this was our dress rehearsal. This was suppose to be the game where the Cowboys addressed all of their shortcomings.

A blowout at the hands of the Texans is not the end of the world my friends. Preseason means very little. Basically just get out without any major injuries and get some game time in. That is all it boils down to. The game planning is saved for the regular season. And that is all that matters.

For those of you who are worried to walk past the water cooler up at work because you'll have to confront the guy who likes to rib you every chance he gets, GET OVER IT! He's is probably more clueless than anybody.

Folks, it's preseason. We all want to see perfection and execution. We all wanted a victory. Just didn't happen. We're 2-2 and heading into another meaningless game against Miami.

Just remember, it's preseason!

It sounds like you want Wade to call out players....in the media. And that isn't his style. And according to Keith Brooking, he holds all of his players accountable. So who should I believe? You, or a guy who has played for Wade on two different teams? Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Honestly, I would believe Brooking.
But, ah hail, ah think you should belief me. I half seen a lot of football on TV so I know something about football. Maybe.

There he was. Wade, looking glum.
And there he was, Gary Kubiak, looking self-assured, smart and all-business.

One will go home and cry and whine we "are not prime time."

The other will go to the office and watch film and kick booty for those who need it and offer a pat on the back for those who excelled.

This is not a post about the game (or lack of it) last night or this preseason so far.
Preseason results are like polls taken by special-interest groups. The tell little.
Preseason games do not reflect what talent is on the field and how smart the strategy is. These games simply reflect how some rooks or second-year players function in "real game" conditions.
Whether the Boys lost by a couple of points or by 40 is not important in a preseason game.

But what is telling is a glum Wade who for some reason feels compelled to be down and downcast over a lousy preseason game. For the world to see.
That might be his modus operandi this season. Lose, complain and whine about how the talent has not jelled. How some players did not step up. How the game plan went awry.

Wade, please, this season, take time to look in the mirror, Mr. Defensive Genius. See in reflection of your Mr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde personalities. High one day doing the YMCA dance, downcast another, muttering about "prime time."

Kubiak, and others of his ilk and of hardened nature, on the other hand, stay focused. They do not look glum after the game. If they do, that is their consistent demeanor. They have their game faces on and go look at the film and reassess their talent and starters.

Mr. Phillips, please, this season show some consistency in your demeanor. Your fist-pumping and alternating with your hands to your forehead got old the first season.
Show some toughness. This seson call out players individually. that is what any high school or college or NFL coach will do. Yes, calling out rookies is not the wisest thing, but in the real season, do it to the starters for once in your life. Otherwise you remain the soft (albeit leaner) nice guy who players do not feel accountable to.

Again, this post is not about the game. it is about our coach who sulks this much in the preseason. What will he do in the regular season, hari kari?

Stay tuned for As the Wade Turns this season.
