The Skins control their own destiny... a win and a loss by either Det or GB (who play each other)... No tie. LOL

It looks like it will be Green Bay/Seattle and NYG and Wash.

Watching NFL channel and they mentioned Commanders play at 1 and if the win they are in unless GB and Det tie. If GB and Det tie both of them go to playoffs and Commanders are out. They asked would GB and Det agree to play that game to a tie? since the lose of the game would miss the playoffs.

It looks like if the Commanders win they are in according to to the link you sent. I didn't realize they were that much of a lock?

One fact will hold true

No matter the results of next weeks game, whoever we play in the divisional round will be a rematch from this year.

If New Orleans beats the Falcons
Green Bay beats Detroit
Seattle beats San Fran

The Falcons slide to the 4th seed and could see Dallas in the divisional round

I think in the NFC, only two positions are completely set :
  • Dallas as the 1st seed
  • NY as the 5th seed
All the rest of the positions can change to varying degrees.
4 games to watch

Atlanta vs New Orleans
an Atlanta win locks them into the #2 seed. A loss and Seattle win puts Seattle in the 2 slot. So a very big deal for the Falcons

Washington vs New York
Win and in for Washington. The game has no impact on New York's position. So if the Skins can't win this home game, they don't belong anyway.

Detroit vs Green Bay
The winner is in. If Washington loses, both teams are in anyway but it decides who hosts the wildcard. If Washington wins, this is an elimination game. Winner hosts Washington.

Seattle at LA
This game only has playoff implications if Atlanta loses. If that happens then Seattle can get the 2 seed with a win.

Lions ain't beating GB @ Lambeau. Packers are hot right now and Rodgers looks like Rodgers again. They'll make the playoffs.

One more thing; all of these games start later in the day. No noon games so every game will still have implications at kickoff time.
Nice setup
