What about Teddy Williams? We need some speed on kickoff returns, and Felix doesn't look like he's 100%. I remember RB Tyson Thompson was a decent kickoff returner and he had blazing speed.

Honestly I think our wedge men are to far back. I think they need to set up at 10 or 15 yard line but it looks as if they drift all the way back to the 5 and the return man has to wait an dance around waiting for blocks to be set up instead of getting a head of steam and looking for a hole. I have been very disappointed in Joe D this year

this....I also noticed that we seem to have poor blocks set up. Did the accident change Joe D?

Our special teams has been some garbage.

If the ST continue to play this way a change should be made in the off season. Joe D seems to be a nice guy but his unit is costing the team.

Exactly. The return man is always slowing down waiting for the blockers to make contact. They should take off like every other team does, that way it will give the returner a better chance at seeing the whole open up.

My lone thought about kickoff returns is that we absolutely suck at it. Every player we put on the field to return kicks, jogs gingerly along trying to find a little daylight. If you're going to return kicks, you need to kick it in high gear right off the bat. Our starting field position after receiving a kick almost always sucks. Dez was the lone exception Thursday (even though it was a punt return), but I don't want him returning kicks on a regular basis. Too risky. It was a great call for that last drive though. Kudos to the coaching staff.

I just get sick and tired of seeing them bringing it out when kicked 5 to 6 yards deep into the EZ and not even making it out to the 20.

You bring it out, you had BETTER at least make it to the 21....otherwise it's just one big fail.

Why not bring back McCann? He was more than serviceable on KR duty, would add depth at CB.
