Maybe we can all post them here versus 100 individual threads?

Just post which site you used (firstpick or fanspeak)..and some rationale if you want.

I'll go first.

Fanspeak from 2/15. I pretty much won already so everyone can stop doing mocks.

19: R1P19 S DERWIN JAMES FLORIDA STATE
50: R2P18 G WILL HERNANDEZ UTEP
81: R3P17 DL TAVEN BRYAN FLORIDA
118: R4P16 LB LORENZO CARTER GEORGIA
138: R4P36 TE TROY FUMAGALLI WISCONSIN
139: R4P37 EDGE DUKE EJIOFOR WAKE FOREST
174: R5P36 CB KEVIN TOLIVER II LSU
176: R5P37 LB JACK CICHY WISCONSIN
196: R6P19 WR JALEEL SCOTT NEW MEXICO STATE
236: R7P18 DL DEADRIN SENAT SOUTH FLORIDA

I even took an injury risk with Cichy to give it a Jerry feel to it.

Love this draft. And your avatar. I don't know if I am more upset about the cowboys season or that I have to wait a full year for GOT to come back lol

I think I win for most unrealistic and awesome draft

These simulated mocks are a joke. I haven't seen a single one yet that doesn't have a bases of reality.

As the draft gets a little closed the big boards on these sites will get a little better and more realistic.

Something I noticed with Fanspeak this year, so far, is that they don't have a CBS big board like they did in the past. Out of all the big boards you could use on that site, I always felt the CBS was the best one.

However I will say this about doing the mock drafts.

I think they can be educational if one is trying to do a good job. Sometimes it forces you to look up some players and find out more about them than you normally would.

CBS must have slashed their draft coverage budget this year or something...they seem to have a lot less info this year and their rankings seem to be really far begind.

Yes...someone said something about them losing some people or something but I can't remember who or what was going on.

Dane Brugler (and NFLDraftScout.com) are no longer affiliated with CBS Sports.

And it shows.

Great idea.
For starters, those mocks are usually extremely unrealistic.
But it's all in good fun.
:flagwave:
Just way better to not have a thread for each one.

19: R1P19

DL VITA VEA
WASHINGTON

Yes Yes Yes...I know...He will not be here...just like Floyd Shariff was not going to be at our spot and Stephen Jackson would not be at our spot...until they were.
And I know I know..>Rod will not take a 1 Tech. I happen to think Vita might be the exception. I think he is that good and quick for a man his size. Plus I am hoping that Richard might
be the DC in waiting and will have a say and put a bug in the ears of the people picking in the draft room.

50: R2P18
WR D.J. MOORE
MARYLAND

Like others...Love this kid and think he can have a good future in the NFL.

81: R3P17
C FRANK RAGNOW
ARKANSAS

Not Nelson, Wynn or Hernandez...but I think he can be a good OG in the NFL and without a doubt should be a decent backup at C in a pinch.

118: R4P16
OT BRANDON PARKER
NORTH CAROLINA A&T

Might need time before he is a starter, might not. But I think he has a future in the NFL.

138: R4P36
TE TROY FUMAGALLI
WISCONSIN

Pretty Good TE. He might be a meat and taters TE instead of a flashy down the field TE that many want...but he might help out this team until we get another guy.

139: R4P37
CB J.C. JACKSON
MARYLAND

Good CB at this spot and I think would be drafted higher if not for the off the field baggage/problems. No...I don't think they deal with mary jane.

174: R5P35
WR ALLEN LAZARD
IOWA STATE

I know I know...another WR. But I think this guy is going to be a good player. I don't know if he will ever have top end speed but I think he can be a good possesion guy and red zone target at the least.

176: R5P37
LB SHAQUEM GRIFFIN
CENTRAL FLORIDA

Guy has one hand. Maybe he makes it in the NFL on the field maybe he does not. I do however think he is a better player than just a good story type guy. At the very least he should be a special teams demon.

196: R6P19
LB NICK DELUCA
NORTH DAKOTA STATE

Did not take any of the scarce top end LBs in the draft so go back to back with what might be considered hope picks. A one hand guy and a guy from a small school.

236: R7P18
OT AUSTIN CORBETT
NEVADA

Guy could wind up being in the mix to make the team. Has some upside. But at this point in the draft if he is not, so be it.

Absolutely love that draft Brainpaint. Every one of them.

Don't really like Lazard for what we need if we keep Dez but I would absolutely pounce at pick 174 and chances are somebody drops. There's too many in that 2-4th range, I'm hoping for it to be Pettis because I'd love to get the jet sweep back but that feels wishful.

Fanspeak really needs to adjust there algorithms, Senat goes within the first four rounds unless there is a medical concern.

These fanspeak drafts are horrible, i used to like them but they are so bad at prospect rankings. I use nfldraftscout.com prospect rankings because they are realistic.
round 1 trade back after getting wiped out because I am not as high on Hurst as everyone else(Jaguars move up to get Jackson; we get their second p 61) it's a little bit of an overpay for them something like 60pts or a mid 4th but they would do it for a QB trade up most teams overpay for QB trade ups
R1 P29 OG Will Hernandez- UTEP..... step-in starter and a mauler in the run game...cooper can play guard and center so he will be the new Joe Looney
round 2 trade back up using P 81 to jump up into the low 40's from p61 that's about a 185pt jump up
R2 P42 LB Leighton Vander Esch- Boise State..... comparison's to Urlacher, raw but is a tackling machine who is super fast for his size, can play all 3 spots
R2 P50 WR Simmie Cobbs JR- Indiana..... not my first pick but WR's fly off the board leaving a Dez Replacement for next year just sitting there
R4 P118 FS Jessie Bates III- Wake Forest..... one of the best free safeties with size in this class, great range, a little raw but huge upside...lucky if he's here
R4 P138 DE Chad Thomas- Miami..... just like taco last year, he is a project but has traits and great size and speed combo
R4 P139 DT Justin Jones- NC State..... looks to be a 1 tech who can get upfield, a Marinelli kind of guy. Not an anchor but can still chew up a double team
R5 P174 OT Zachary Crabtree- Oklahoma State..... Has the traits, sign a veteran to play swing tackle and coach this guy up for the future swing position
R5 P176 RB Justin Jackson- Northwestern..... underated back, he does everything well and would be a great 3rd down back
R6 P196 CB D.J. Reed- Kansas State..... Scandrick replacement in the slot with insane speed and return ability
R7 P236 WR Steve Ishmael- Syracuse..... another option just in case T-Will doesn't put it all together next season
