I actually asked for him the 3rd time we got 4th and inches. I need to go shower just admitting that.

:laugh2:

I thought for sure on one of those 4th and inches, we would have run a PA pass out of the formation. They were crowding the line and I thought we could have gotten something out of it.

Great read, Hos. It was a good game to watch.

I'm excited for tomorrow.

I only saw Tony Romo throw a couple of bad passes today. He had 13 incompletions and I swear at least 10 of them were catchable balls and our WRs simply dropped them. His streak of 168 passes without an INT and consecutive games without one ended today and it really is on the WR not the QB, but the stats have never reflected that and certainly won't now. He has been nearly flawless this December. As good as I have ever seen him. The drops reflect on him but as with the INT, they shouldn't.

So you think one of the best moves this past off season was the subtraction of Jessica Simpson?:laugh2:

Awesome post as usual, Hostile! I agree with you about the Razorback. Get rid of that bleedin play, and go with what works. I'm really happy about the drop in penalties. I'm also very impressed with our defense right now. They are a machine.

I think this team really believes they can make a serious run in the playoffs. I can't wait for Filthy next week. I'm glad it's not a night game because I would go crazy waiting all day for it.

I like Candice better. She's a friend on Facebook. But who he dates has never mattered to me.

Honestly, I define this defense more by holding the juggernaut Saints to 17, than to shutting out the total offensively inept Skins.

I love shutouts, but doing it to these Skins is like beating a child in a fight.

Next week will be a huge challenge for this D. McNabb is always a tough draw. He will have his full battery of weapons, now that Westbrook is back. This game will definitely have a playoff atmosphere.....and I hope the team plays as if their season is on the line. Just give me crisp tackling, eliminate big plays, eliminate 3rd down conversions. On offense, execute short yardage and stop dropping the damn ball. On STs, have great coverage and make all FG attempts.

Campbell got charged with an incompletion. Scandrick will have to settle for getting mentioned on SportsCenter. No sack. No FF.
No, I think he was charged with a fumble. At least, the official game stats credit him with one...and unless I am having a brain fart, that is the only fumble of his I remember.

how is that possible though, they placed it 4th and 17? It had to be backward lateral which is a fumble or a sack.

I am not understanding this either.

Who cares if Scandrick gets official credit for the stat? I know deep down in my heart and deep down in my pants that it was a forced fumble. They spotted it as a fumble.

I just know I like seeing the guy make plays. Man, we've got some corners now in our secondary. I like the way this team is starting to develop, gel and gain momentum going into the final game.

It should be interesting and fun at the very least.

We left points on the board just like we did against San Diego.

The difference? The Skins offense is pathetic.

But regardless, our defense is playing out of their minds good. Defense wins championships. If we can learn how to pick up short yards, and learn how to catch a ball (my patience is gone with Roy, I've become a hater) I really like what we're doing on offense. However we're 0 for our last 3 on 4th and short. That is alarming.

But with this defense, I like our chances against anyone. The offense needs to execute better though, no doubt.

I don't know about anyone else, but I do not like the Razorback. I really don't like running a gimmick play out of a gimmick formation. In my not so humble opinion, Miami runs that formation great, no one else does. It is not worth keeping it in the playbook. We do not need gimmicks in order to beat teams. Just let us line up and beat guys head to head. I believe we are good enough to do that. I know why we run it. I know it keeps teams honest. I still don't like it. I don't think it is worth it. We are a much better team with the ball in Tony Romo's hands than any other option. His TD pass to Roy was magical.

I like the Razoback as a change up and it has had some nice results.

The reverse off of it certainly didn't work last night, but maybe having the play on tape will cause the future opposition to freeze for a half second next time the reverse is faked.

My problem with the Razorback is twofold. It is either going to be predictable (Choice will keep it and run) or a gimmick play.

I agree. We really are much to vanilla with it to run it very effectively. I'd rather they just gave those carries to Choice in a tradition set rather than in the Wild cat formation.

So would I. I want him to get carries. I just don't want them to be so obvious. Love how the kid runs. Don't hobble him.

The lasting image and statistic of the game today for me will be getting stuffed twice on 4th and inches. Our short yardage Offense needs serious work this week in practice. I don't mind trying to run it with Barber on 4th and inches, but we have got to have a push by the O-line and a Draw play is not the call we need to be making. Power up and do a straight ahead run from the I with lead blocking. I believe we make it.

Yea, on 4th and inches just run the QB sneak or do a quick hitting run play. Don’t have slow developing run plays where guys have to pull or trap. Skins had everyone in the middle, should have done some type of toss with Felix.
