I was off to college when I got the call from my Mom. I had dreaded it for a long time. My dog was suffering. They had to put her down. I couldn't have someone else do it. I needed to come home and be with her one last time. It was my job. It was not easy. It had to be done.

Jerry, come home and put him out of our misery. It's your job. It has to be done. Be with him one last time and say goodbye.

Wade has to go. This team gave up when Romo went down. Flat out turned French and gave up. White flags, berets, croissants, and all kinds of surrender.

Jerry, I know you don't want to make a mid season move. I am going to take an argument right from the SNF crew tonight. There may be a lockout next season. You have to have a plan in place in case there is. Wade is not a plan in place. He's a train wreck.

Turn the reins over to Jason Garrett now and give him a 3 year deal so that this off season is not a time of limbo. See for yourself whether these guys will play for him. They are not playing for Wade. (EDIT: See the commentary about giving him a 3 years deal posts #139 and later.)

He's lost the team. They are not his team any more. They do not believe in him. You can't either. Not anymore.

Last week I posted a tongue in cheek thread about starting the pups. Jerry, I'd rather watch the pups than what I am seeing.

We only had 5 penalties. That isn't the excuse any more. But we also only had 12 first downs. 4 of them were on the final drive when the Packers were in prevent and run clock mode. We gave up 26 and allowed the Packers to control the ball for nearly 38 minutes. 4 turnovers are simply too much and once again we don't take any back. The Defense is the biggest lapse on this team.

A few guys showed up to play tonight. A couple of them showed up in a comedy role. Jason Witten and Felix Jones did their best impersonations of Chris Gronkowski. Not that I minded too much. I really do not like Kitna, and his 3/4 delivery right into Clay Mathews waiting hands doesn't shock me at all. If they had got him hurt I do not know if it would have been a bad thing.

Dez came to play. He made a critical mistake, but rookies do that. He showed heart. He leaves me some hope. Cowboys fans will not complain about Dez. Nor should they.

McCann on kick returns came to play. Yeah we got robbed on the fumble. So what? We got robbed much worse on the entire season. Not all of it is horrid. Just 99.9% of it. 1-7 Jerry. Pull the trigger. End the suffering.

McBriar looked good. It's a bad sign when the Punter is a highlight. For that matter it's a bad thing when the Kick Returner stands out too. It means he had too many chances.

Jerry, that is Wade. He's had too many chances now. 121 points given up the last 3 weeks. Nearly half of last year for 16 games.

The game ended with a sack. How fitting. Your turn Jerry. You're the only one who can do it. It's your job. He needs to be sacked. Put this team out of our misery.

3 year deal for Garrett ??:lmao2:

Sorry about your dog, though.

Fully agree with everything here. That's one dog that needs to go down.

We didn't have enough time of possession to get any more penalties :)

100% agree.

It's incredibly sad it has come to this, but it must happen tomorrow.

Wow Hos... This is the quickest I have seen your summary arrive on the board. You must have been bored too and began typing it during the game. :laugh2:

Wade is a walking zombie...

Please no to Garrett, the offense has looked horrid.

Agree with everything EXCEPT signing Garrett to anything. Send his *** packing with Wade. Hire a new head coach and let him hire his own staff. I firmly believe hiring Garrett before hiring a head coach is one of the primary reasons we're where we are right now. It was an incredibly stupid move then and it still is.

and wade is only part of the probleme. the cowboys should be about football, not self promotion..maybe jerry will get it, this is worse than 1-15 for him, no doubt. worst season for me as a fan.

I did not have much to say.

...other than to hand 3 years of this franchise's leadership over to a 7 pt. guru? This was as much JG's bad as it was Garrett. Personally, I hope Jerry had his fingers crossed on that promise, for the team's sake.

But, yeah, put this dog out of its misery.

It's time to pull the plug.

you got the 3 players who played well tonight... McCann showed good vision on his returns

the rest of the team tonight was a utter disaster
