A trade back scenario

It feels as if that goes beyond the first round as well, especially last year.

They’ve been getting away with it for the most part.
You’re absolutely right. Everybody knew they wanted S. Williams.

With a buzz on Schmitz he may actually go before Gibbs. I think I take Gibbs first there’s some quality interior offensive lineman in the second round. They claim the new scheme or system is going to be run orientated. So that’s my mantra

A trade back that results in having 3 picks in the 2nd round.
The Cowboys get
Zay Flowers wr Boston College
Schmitz oline Minnesota
Zach Charbonnet rb UCLA

I traded back to 37 to get this. Gave up 26 and 129.
I’d take that all day long…I even love the Chabonnet pick.

I think it was 37 and 61. Traded with Seattle.
26 = 700 points
129 = 43 points

I am assuming you are trading with Carolina for 39 and 61. Seattle has 37 and 52.

39 = 510
61 = 292 for a total of 802 points. We'd need to give up another 4th round pick to make this trade.

36 = 530
52 = 380 for a total of 910 points. We'd have to give u p at least our 3rd round pick to convince Seattle to part with two 2nds.
