A True "Team" Effort

It's been quite a while since this team has been taken to the woodshed so completely as they did against the Broncos. I know it's only one game, but I do expect all of those multimillionaires to at least show up & at least put up a fight. The entire O-line, & the D-line, except for D-Law, failed to move the LOS the opposite direction all night. I don't want the hear about how hard it is to play in Denver. If you expect to be the best, you have to beat the best. This night, it was an 800 pound gorilla vs a bunch of chimps, & I'm embarrassed for them. Time to either get more out of this team, or find someone who can! 1995 is looking further away every year!!

They got handled today.

I think we had a let down after the Giants win. Denver is s tough place to play.

I expect us to play much better next week. Good motivation opportunity here

Byron Jones needs to be on the bench - start there - terrible player

Let's see....today it was some declaring players quit....so the "fan" is gonna quit....Oxymoron?? Some on this board will turn on you in a millisecond. Hope we got it out.... it's a long season. BTW....Sean Lee didn't have a great game today also. This was a team beaten....and with some many players to wonder about today.....rest it on JG shoulders......unprepared and predictable. This team just got Trever S a Player of The Week award.....go figure, and he'll stink next week....book it.

Like I said- a good wake up call. Let's see what this coaching staff has... I know what Marinelli is going to bring, unfortunately: cussing and bland, lazy D calls, but Linehan bears the brunt of the burden of fixing things.

It was indeed a team effort. I usually don't buy into the team not being prepared, but today the Cowboys looked unprepared from start to finish. We looked horrible in the trenches on both sides of the ball. If the Dallas Cowboys are not embarrassed, we have a problem.

I think this was an embarrassing Giants hangover. Pretty much a team failure across the board for players, coaches, offense, defense. Everybody but the kickers laid an egg today.
Hooray for Dan Bailey and Chris Jones.

They were bad, all around. When Sean Less is getting stiff armed and missing tackles, and Jaylon is overrunning plas, and DLaw is giving free sets of downs in critical situations and Dez is bumping up footballs and Zeke can't run and our OL can't get to the 2nd level and Witten drops a TD that hits his hands and Dak overthrows a wide open Beasley and Collins can't block Miller and Heath falls down in coverage and Jones is taking bad angles on key 3rd down plays and Awuzie and Carroll go out with early injuries....something is up.

Yeah, I'm tired of hearing the term "hangover" or "laying an egg" or "believing their own press clippings".

The red-headed step child seems to have his team unprepared for these big games more often than not. He rarely fails to disappoint.

I can't remember the last time we had a hangover game.

Good teams lose games to other good teams in this league. There are always going to be reasons for it. If you're saying you'd rather we win them, I can get on board with that.

Man.....you nailed it....there was enough bad play to go around today. Total Team Effort that points to Preparation, which means JG?

Meh. Whatever the terminology is for being unprepared and out-coached, that is what I meant.

No coach escapes blame when the team plays this poorly. That would be crazy. As far as I'm concerned, everybody involved who's not Bailey or Jones took turns crapping the bed today until somebody decided there was enough crap, and that didn't happen until the final minute, apparently.

And that's JG for you folks.....mirrored the GB game playoff except we had time to come back. Not this time as this defense was too good. And if Linny doesn't start using Zeke he needs to be canned!!
