A wasted year to come?

How many of us feel right now as the 2018 season will be a "wasted year". Meaning Dallas will not change their approach and we will have endure the same old routine to hopefully bring about change. Change being a new HC and fresh approach, which would bring hope... From everything I read and hear, Dallas is in denial (blaming injuries and zeke)! As a lifelong fan, its the first time I can remember of feeling hopeless, stuck in the quicksand!! Even during 1-15 season you knew t could only get better....just a weird feeling at this point!!

We may still have a bad year, but I'm guessing changes will be made. Will the changes be enough, or the ones we want? Time will tell.

I felt strongly last year would be a wasted year. I don't yet feel that way about this year. I have to see how the draft and free agency goes and see if there are any suspensions and injuries that occur before predicting how the team may perform next year. It's too early to tell.

Garrett is going nowhere. He's got at least 4 years of excuses ready. The next heads to roll will be the OC/DC and then there will be a few years of a grace period to adjust to the new coordinators' systems.

Dallas is loaded with talent, a draft and pending free agency. The NFL is built for a team like Dallas to win. Believe me, the NFL wants Dallas to win the Superbowl. Dallas is a rating bonanza waiting to happen. Jerry has three frigging rings.....three of them....when he took over the team it was in utter shambles.

This team has been steadily on the rise since Dak put a star on his head. 13 wins then 9, yeah Dak is a Da** winner. I have an expectation of the team winning every Superbowl since I first saw Staubach.

Never say never (that’s why they play the games), but as long as Jerry Jones is the GM and Jason Garrett is the HC, I don’t expect the level of improvement to be enough to take us to a championship.

Eagles have a better coach, two better QB's and a better front seven on defense. Washington are well coached and performed admirably given how many injuries they had, New York Giants were a play off team the year before with one of the best defenses...so it doesn't bode well!

Last night I was thinkin, "Hell must have frozen over cause the eagles won a SB". Then I woke up this morning and found out the nightmare was true.

I agree with this. We were starting to roll and then once he got suspended we ran into a gauntlet in the schedule, Atlanta, Philly, etc. I just wish our HC wasn't so hard headed and would adjust and be aggressive. Pederson said it best that you can't be conservative and expect to win in this league. Had Philly started running the ball after halftime and being conservative they would have gotten steamrolled. Brady went on 3-75 yard TD drives in the second half. JG would have also kicked the field goal right before the half instead of going for it.

As I've stated numerous times throughout the years, change the offense and I can live with JG. He hasn't done it in 10 years and I don't expect him to now.
