we gave up 33 points to a team without its top 3 offensive weapons and a line arguably worse then ours.

Not much to be encouraged about after this win but I'll take it.

Murray brought new life and balance back to the offense but now the past few weeks it seems as though the Defense is headed in the wrong direction.

It always seems like these 2 units never play well together. when one is in a funk the other is prospering like early in the yr when the defense played well and we couldn't score. Now back to the the norm around here, it's moving in the other direction.

And seriously,the op is complaining about depth when really no NFL has depth at that many positions.. it's usually one or two.. three at the most. Texans lost some guys and their pass defense blows now.. Injuries aren't excuses but when you lose the best two linebackers, lose a couple safeties who weren't pro bowlers to begin with, the defense will suffer.

.........anyone happy with the direction of this team after this season's performance is delusional or developmentally disabled or both. They won't win again, if they do they'll hit the 7-9 mark I predicted before the season but looking at the remaining schedule: this was our last win this season.

Man, I know we haven't exactly looked good in a while and the defense was not good tonight ... but my god, it's a win. It keeps us in the playoff hunt and you post this garbage? The NFL is a week to week league and anything can happen. Our offense was great tonight and they should've been against that terrible secondary. Seriously, what has happened to this board? You can hardly celebrate a damn win for five minutes around here anymore.

If you asked me before the season that the Cowboys would sweep the Eagles and if I would be happy, I would say yes. The Eagles have owned the Cowboys the last few years. I dislike the Eagles more than any other NFCE team. It's amazing we're complaing about style points on sweeping the Eagles. The Cowboys aren't a real playoff team, but I'll take small victories where I can.

This game went about how I called it in the prediction thread. We won the game, but didn't do enough to have much confidence going forward. We found a running game, but its hard to tell if that was Murray coming back or a terrible Eagles defense. Whatever, we had the same result anyway. Trailed a really bad team until the fourth quarter, took the lead and then tried to give it away at the end. Still, we won and that is a good thing........

Houston is suffering because they can now expose their Nickel CB with the LB injuries. Kareem Jackson is terrible.
