A win over Titans won't mean much

I have a feeling that the Cowboys beating the Titans will not mean too much to the fans.
They are a team that should be beaten fairly easily.
But, knowing that the Cowboys have two consecutive road games after, their futility on the road this season leaves many skeptical that they will win any of those two games.
Until they show that they can win on the road, wins at home will be futile in many minds.

It would mean a lot to me.

There is no such thing as an easy win in the NFL and the Cowboys need to get back to .500 at the halfway point to make a run in a still-winnable NFC East.

Plus, without a first round pick, there won't be any talk about tanking for a top ten selection this year, either.

I dont even think we beat the titans

Its one of those teams we barely ever play but when we do they somehow get the upper hand

I respectfully disagree, while I expect to beat them handily I realize their offense is 3rd worse in the league and our D is considerably better. We should dominate them but I think most fans will get overly excited for beating a scrub team.

I’ve always said, we’ll be tested vs Jacksonville but they’re clearly not who any of us thought they were so that win has become diminished in my eyes. We still have yet to play an offense ranked higher than 14th, which is currently Houston. This is just another game to pad our defensive stats against a horrendous offense. We’ve really lucked out with our schedule this year, it may be one of the top 5 easiest when it’s all said and done (not including the AFC East) because 3 our of 4 teams suck and play each other twice a year.

Fair Weather......

I agree. If you go by power rankings DAL has beaten the #18, 20, and 29th teams in the league.... All at home, and TEN is #22.... Again at home. It won’t mean anything is right. What happens in the 5 games after that is what counts. That could legitimately be an 0-5 stretch.

For what it's worth the Titans did beat the Eagles right? Every game counts if this team is going to try and make a run for the playoffs. Especially since the Skins have a two game lead on the NFC East. Realistically the Cowboys will need to win every game they can, hope the Skins lose a couple, and then beat the Skins in the next match up between the two teams.

Plus, there is still two games left with Philly as well.

You might be right about fans not properly appreciating another win at home but their reaction, if we lose, will be unmistakable "sky is falling" revolt.

It means nothing because it's the kind of team we usually beat. We always fail against better teams, however.
