We win this Commanders game and suddenly the NFC East is basically a 2 team race. A loss and all hell breaks loose....

Think about..
0-6 Gaints
1-5 Skins
It's the Boys and Philly left this early in the season

Minor correction, but the Commanders are 1-3 right now, not 1-4.

A loss to Dallas would make them 1-4.

Just take care of business...who cares what the rest are doing...if they focus on this game, and win, then they can focus on philly next week....win both of these games, and the division is ripe for the taking

On the flip side, if we lose this game we breathe life into Washington, possibly moving them into first place at 2-3. We would fall to 2-2 at home and 2-4 on the season with 4 of the next 5 on the road where the Cowboys have yet to win a game.

This game is a very important one for both teams.

Probably gonna be another shootout... Hopefully, we win this one... This is basically Kiffin's first chance to redeem himself against the read option offense...
Skins coming off a bye and RG3 supposedly healthy... Morris is healthy... would be nice to keep him under 100... he had over 300 in two games last year.

FYI, none of the NFCE teams will play an "important" game this year. One of them will be served up as playoff fodder for likely whichever NFC west team doesn't win their division.

Not the same offense. They hardly do the read option now which scares me more cause they'll be looking to throw it and exploit mismatches.

My only hope is Dallas spreads the field and pounces on their defense early. A conservative game here will cause us to lose.

It will be. No surprise that week 17 opponent will be playing for something too. Eagles are next on the rotation

RG3 against this Defense ... im predicting 400 passing and 100+ rushing from RG3.

I said it before the season started. If we don't win the East this year and make some post season noise then I never expect it to happen in the Romo and Garrett era.

This is the year to make something happen. We won't be fielding a better team than this team for quite awhile.

I cant believe this team would be 2-4 if we lose and not take advantage of possibly the worst NFCE in the history of the NFCE. lol

Special sauce right there folks

Noted and agreed.

Spread it out and let Romo earn his money.

These 'skins games always make me nervous.

But it did happen in the Romo/Wade era, so maybe Romo is not the problem.

That would be awful, the 0-6 Giants would still be in this thing, how depressing would that be.

All games are important.

But division games count for more
There is added pressure normally to win your home games too.
So a home division game is way up there as far as helping get to the playoffs.

Including this week's game, here is the rank order of games by importance so far as they relate to Dallas going to the playoffs:

1) New York. NFC East, home game. Season opener
1) Washington. NFC East, home game
3) St Louis, NFC conference game. Home game
4) Denver, non conference . Home game
5) San Diego, non conference. Away game
5). Kansas City. Non conference. Away game

As far as the op goes, I'm not sure that a Dallas win would make this a two team race. Too early still for that. At this early stage of the season, it is a very important game though.
