SF has too many picks and is a likely trade partner.

Would you trade our 2014 first round pick for their 2nd, 4th and 7th?

These would be picks: 34, 128, 227

Anything involving trading future firsts in general is a horrible idea, but this in particular. NO!

If you are referring to their 34th pick? If so, then I would seriously consider it. That pretty darn good value.

Yes I would. This is a deep draft. However, let me temper that with I don't know next year's draft. So take that yes with a grain of salt.

I am assuming he meant the 51st.
34th would be tempting, yes....especially if you add in the 4th and 7th.

If we had the 20th pick next year, equal value would be about the 50th pick or so this year. In most draft circles anyway, rule of thumb is add one round.

Yes.
Just beacuse you could turn around and get back a higher 1st rounder next year plus more with that deal..if you wanted to.

Yes, I would do it! The future is now and four of those picks could turn into day-one starters if Dallas has done their due diligence.

Not to mention they have draft picks to secure RB, WR, CB, and TE in rounds 4-7! Yes, sign me up!

Pretty good QB class coming up next year and Romo is no spring chicken. I think I keep next year's first.

Hello! Not to mention Jerry's track record on trading first rounders.

NO. I'm trying to walk out of this draft with an extra first next year. Clowney would be a franchise saver.

The trade he listed heavily favors Dallas. The 34th pick from this year all by it self has greater value than the 18th pick next year. Let alone the extra 4th and 7th.

Even if you wanted to get back the 2014 1st rounder, you could do so (maybe even a higher pick than we would have had to begin with) and still keep those extra 4th and 7th round picks for free.

This. It would be a great opportunity to try and secure one of the young QB talents coming out next year as well as load up on talent this year!

After last Friday its pretty clear we're not drafting a QB high for at least the next 2 years. However, if we can catch Geno Smith falling down to 18 and say get Jacksonville to gives us pick 33, 64 and next years first rounder then yeah I would be pleased to get an extra first for 2014 but only for the chance to get Clowney.

It would have to be for Watson. But no, I am not doing it.
