We really got screwed on the Roy Williams trade. The guy just doesn't have the "it" factor and is not worth what we threw away to acquire him.

Yep. Totally. Completely. Whole thing sucked. Couldn't agree with you more. They need to pack it all in and fire the whole team cause that deal sucked.

A bit early to tell - complain at the end of the year if you must but right now you are just another premature evaluator.

According to some here, it wouldn't have mattered if we had the draft picks or not. Jerry would've screwed it up one way or another...

i swear to god it would kill someone to try and be positive here. i know it's hard, but if you're going to be negative, a new thing to be negative would be cool. venting, reventing and re-reventing is just tiresome on the fan who just wants to talk football, not whine.

Only a year later? That isn't enough time. What's your rush to declare this trade such a bad deal?

Easy there,

At the end of November, we could be on a five game winning streak and leading our division. It's not out of the relm of possibilities. This is the NFL and these things happen all of the time. Look at the Giants of 2004 and 2007. Look at the Steelers of last year. Last year's Eagles. Those were all teams that had fans that were ready to completely pack it in at some point during those seasons, only to see them end up in at least the championship game, and a few SuperBowls.

It's not over yet. Romo will probably bounce back and have a three or four TD performance Sunday. Then the bye week. Then everyone is back healthy entering one of our most successful months.

As far as Williams goes, He ins't a number one receiver, he is a one and a half. Crayton is not a number two receiver, he is a three. Therefore, we should have gotten at least a real number 2 receiver in free agency to try and make up the difference. We didn't do it and many of us thought we should have. Now this is what we are stuck with. Our number 3 receiver will have to be number one on Sunday.

It would've been worth it if he was a bigtime playmaking #1 WR. But, he's not.

Don't give up on Roy just yet! Remember he's 26 years old, he could be doing this well at 36. That'd be a Decade of rib injuries, alligator arms, bad routes and dropped balls.

It's abit premature to guage Roy at this time in an offense that is struggling. I think that they need to change up some of his routes though. One thing he does do well is block downfield for the backs,so atleast he's trying to be a team player/showing effort.

So then our number 4 is our 2 and 5 is our 3 correct?

Witten should remain our number one option. especially against the pathetic chefs.

Worst trade in the history of the NFL ....... We gave up 4 number 1 draft picks for him.

Hmmmff....well the track record says Jerry screwing up is more than likely. A betting man would have to go with the odds.
