I'm sorry but AG just pisses me off....especially against bigger receivers...i know hes kinda small...but damn he could at least play a lil more aggressive....if Newman is not back...we are done

you guys can hang on to your lil hope saying "AG is not that bad" or "look what he did vs Plaxico 2 years ago" or "our rush D will prevent him 4rm getting exposed"

fact is....hes barely a solid corner anymore...he gets out muscled, out jumped, has bad timing, never EVER looks back for the ball...im so sick and tired of him...Dre bly is the same height and he plays more aggressive and more smart...

Andre abused Glenn...yes i know its pre season.... but 2 years ago in pre season...johnson was not abusing Newman like this....Newman stuck it to him...and he had a pick....i just don't trust the guy anymore

i look at him almost like Keith Davis now...just not as goofy as Keith was...I'm bout to go Educan on Glenn....we seriously need to do something and fast in case Newman cant go...they will avoid Henry and go after Glenn....i rather them go after Henry then Glenn..because Henry will make plays...i rather have joey thomas then Glenn at this point..at least hes aggressive and looks back

Can folks drop some names in this thread of #3 corners around the league that could step in and be a near shut-down corner like Henry or even a shut-down corner like Newman?

I'd like to call them and tell them how stupid they are because they could EASILY be playing for a team who will pay them 1 CB money.

Glenn is our #3 CB and I am thankful he is on this team. The guy is savvy and his position better than most #3's around this league.

We CANNOT have #1 CB's at every spot. Get real. Haha - this is insane.

hey buddy....im not saying he has to be a number 1...but be more aggressive....playing 10 yards off isn't helping....getting out jumped by ever big receiver in the end zone does not help....jump, grab his hands do something....look for the ball...stop playing the WR

I'm far less concerned about Glenn as our number three than I am about who will be our number four. If any of the top three cannot go then the guy at #4 will be seeing a lot of time and I have ZERO confidence in any of the other guys. And I include Joey Thomas cause I'm just not seeing it in this guy. Reeves is the best we have behind Glenn and he would make a better safety.

I like Thomas a bit more at the 3 spot. Reeves was abused last night. Not that Thomas wasn't.

Thomas is bigger and can press better than Reeves can that I have seen.

Just sayin..

How can you agree with it if your thread reads "Glenn won't cut it".

I am lost.

So you are ok with Glenn at the 3 spot?

If Newman cant go, we are screwed:mad:

Glenn not aggressive?

Glenn is likely our MOST agressive CB. He's more guilty of jumping routes and getting beat with double moves than any CB we have. Sometimes it pays off...sometimes not. Glenn's play has declined, but he's likely not going anywhere...regardless of how much fans cry about it.

You’re entitled...But I'm not understanding all the love that Thomas gets. His coverage is never tight and he is not a sure tackler. He completely wiffed on that pathetic attempt at an open field tackle last night.

when i say aggressive...i mean.....ok did you see Detriot game last season? What did AG do while RW caught the end zone pass?? just stood there looking lost!...Why doesn't he jump with him...hit his hands, grab the ball along with him...PI him...do something ****!

Any time you get 4 deep at any possition, the level drops off. Our Gs are Davis, Kosier, and Berger, then what, move Gurode and open a huge hole at C that Proctor can fill?

This is Reeves 4th year, Jones 4th year and Joey Thomas's 3rd year around the NFL. I don't like the fact Wade is disappointed NO ONE has seperated themselves from the pack @ 4th CB, but we'll just have to get by with what we have. I wish this was 1977 and we could be deeper, but it's 2007 and ya have to play with what ya got.

I really think that fantasy football leads into the mindset. My fantasy team has Peyton Manning at QB and Tony Romo as a backup, why is Dallas stuck with crappy old Brad Johnson?

You mentioned the teams of the 70s. A lot of people tend to forget that there were fewer teams and smaller rosters. There are almost 350 players drawing a full time check today that would have been bagging groceries in the 70s.
