This quote from Ware bothered me. Sounds like a preemptive excuse in case they tank tomorrow.

I think it sounds like Ware saying that they're prepared for every team to play hard no matter what.

In no way is he saying that. If we lose tomorrow, he wants us to believe it's because they got "amped" for us. In that sense, it's the ultimate "get out of jail free" card. He's better than that. Hell, he's already predicting failure by saying that they will block us.

This team (Cowboys) tends to play down to the competition in situations like this.

Not this years team. Outside of the KC game when we were still going through some problems has this team played down to competition.

That's not "failure". There isn't a defensive front in NFL history that could get consistent pressure on 7 or 8 blockers.

There's no way Wade meant that they'll "find some way to block us" with their OL alone. That would make very little sense when you consider his next statement ("because we've been getting pressure on every team we've been playing").

When I see stuff like this it scares me. I remember when we played the Seahawks in the playoffs a few years back, I think there starting CB's were driving a cab and selling shoes a week before we played them and we could not take advantage of them. I think sometimes when a team knows the are shorthanded the rest of the team steps up and has a big game.

To this day, I lay the blame for that loss on Bill Parcells. That was one of his worst coaching jobs, ever. The offense never tried to take advantage of Seattle's weakness, and it cost us the game.

This is a game we should win, but the Packers are desparate. I think if the Packers lose this game, it will seriously jeopardize their playoff hopes.

That said, I think the Cowboys know that this game is a make or break for the Packers. We just need to play error free football and play our game.
