Aaron Maybin?

With the good play we've seen from Ernie Sims, should we give Maybin a look?
He has the talent to give us another pass rusher opposite Ware, he just needs a reality check.

For the minimum, I say why not. He did have 6 sacks last year in a situational role.

Actually, I think he would look good as an Eagle or Commander. So, let either of them have him.

Personally, I'd rather have LB Adrian Hamilton from the Ravens practice squad if it is an OLB we are looking for.

So he is available, just bad.

He is a 235 pound pass rusher who can't play the run at all and has 6 career sacks. Rex Ryan basically said he was released because he was bad. He wasn't getting int he game except in pure pass rushing situations and made zero plays when he did. If Rex didn't want him, Rob won't either.

It's funny but he may very well be equivalent to Adrian Hamilton. Quick, smallish guys. Hamilton just has a couple years to get better.

The Jets are worse off than most. Their duo Thomas and Pace are hardly out performing everybodies favorite whipping boy Anthony Spencer (4.5 combined vs 4)

He's definitely a bust no doubt. We need pass rushers, worth a shot for the minimum. Robinson was a JAG prior to last year, and Sims has been up and down..

It's not a long term fix, but if he turns it around it's worth the shot. If he tanks, let him go.

He did produce last year in a limited role, and the Jets have been awful in all facets this season.
