Fair enough it just seemed like your responses were referring to me as a "doom and gloomer", but I apologize for my assumptions.

That, to me, is an indictment on the passer rating.

We all get that way from time to time. You do not do it on a regular basis, so all is good. There are a few posters that are continual doom and gloom when it is not warranted. I do not include you in that group by any means.

Hug it out fellas

Did any of you actually read the article rather than complaining about who is doom & gloom and who isn't? Thread should be renamed "Hijacked thread by Doom & Gloom Debate."

Check out the porn 'stache!
Let's make sure the D keeps him in 3rd & 8 all game long.

I feel like this is going to be a game where our pass rushers get to pad their stats.

That's what I feel. Enough with the hand-wringing.

Every time I feel like we should get lots of sacks against bad O-lines, we seem to get shut out, but then we go and play a tough line against Atlanta and register 4 sacks.

I don't understand!! :(

Teams with bad O-lines know they have bad O-lines, and when they see a team like Dallas coming, they'll prepare for that (unless they're run by Mike Martz or Steve Spurrier). If I'm GB and I know who's coming into town, I'm preparing a whole lot of max protection plays, 3-step drops, screens, and anything else that will slow down/neutralize the 'Boys pass rush.

They will sack Mr Diggler.

I'm sure we will but to his credit despite taking more sacks than any QB in the league he is still managing to put 16 TD passes to 5 ints and the Pack are avg. 26 points a game.
