Pats in my opinion have a better overall team than GB. As for the GB's weapons on offense, we are deeper at every position (with no Jordy Nelson for GB). RB...Zeke, McFadden, Dunbar. TE...Witten over Cook. WR...I'll take Dez, TWill, Beasley, Butler, Whitehead over Adams, Cobb, Montgomery.

I agree Pats have a good D too they don't give up many points

Don't worry. Next week we will see the love fest for Ryan/Wilson then the following for Brady/Ben

This.

The good news is that if we win it all this year-- then that would mean that Dak has beat the best QBs in the NFL head to head.

He would legitimately be the greatest rookie QB of all time and would enter next year as one of the recognized 2-3 elite QBs in the game today.

I hear you. We're deeper and better at every position but one: QB. I love Dak and what he's done but you know who is rolling. It's VERY simple as I've said all week: Get to him and hit him and we win. If he sits back there with time, we are probably toast. I like our secondary more than most, but let's be realistic. I like us to win 31-27. BUT if we can get a turnover or two, it could be a 34-21 type outcome. (opposite end of that spectrum is if they get a turnover or two....won't be good for us)

I just see our defense being way better (and healthier) over their's. What Rodgers has to face compared to the d of the Packers facing Dak and our run game. And the protection Dak will get behind our OL vs Rodgers behind his. Dak having the best running game in the league to help him, instead of Rodgers who has no reliable running game. Yes they get yards, but not consistently over a game. Facing now the leagues #1 run d in Dallas.

Sports Media desperately seeking a Peyton Manning replacement.

The list of potentials that have been kicked off the bus so far:

Matthew Stafford
Eli Manning
Cam Newton
Andrew Luck
Carson Palmer
Joe Flacco
Kirk Cousins
Alex Smith
Phillip Rivers
Jay Cutler

The list of potentials that are still on the bus, but have not had enough success, are universally loathed, or don't want the job:

Tony Romo
Dak Prescott
Drew Brees
Tom Brady
Derek Carr
Matt Ryan
Jameis Winston
Marcus Mariota
Ben Roethlisberger

So who does that leave? Yep. Aaron Rodgers.

Essentially, the media is looking for that transcendent, likable, personable, well spoken, camera friendly figure, preferably with SB cred, to be the face of the NFL. And it needs to be a QB because that is the most high profile position in the sport.

How many times have you heard, "Well, yes. But he's no Peyton Manning or Tom Brady."

A lot of people (most?) don't like Tom Brady very much. Either because of the Pats cheating scandals or they are just jealous of his life.

So Peyton Manning retiring left a huge hole that is yet to be filled.

The media has set its sights on Aaron Rodgers to be that person. If he could win another SB, then they would be set. Their wet dream is Brady vs. Rodgers in this year's SB with GB winning.

But...........if Rodgers loses to the Cowboys tomorrow (and I fully expect they will) ..............especially after all this hype...............its kind of back to square one for the media.

Sucks to be them. LOL!!!!

He's the 2nd best QB in football. The lovefest is completely warranted.

Some of you get your panties in a bunch when Elliott or Prescott don't get hype so let's be consistent here.

Matt Ryan better season overall than Rodgers. Can't ignore what he's done this year. And Dak is right there with Rodgers for qb rating. Dak 104.9, Rodgers 104.2.

If Dak had his #s the past 7 games no one would complain about the hype he was getting. I can't stand Rodgers but he's tearing it up right now.

He deserves the accolades. It just means that the win will be that much sweeter.

The AR lovefest has been active for 6 years now. I just think he lacks class. He's like a spoiled child that pouts whenever things don't go his way and rubs it in your face when things do go his way. He takes pot shots at teams after wins and rarely offers congratulations to opponents after losses, always saying GB beat themselves. And that championship belt thing. I hope Dallas eliminates them.

He loves taking potshots / making subtle digs at other teams after losses. One of his more famous, reoccurring, ones is drinking Crush Grape in the post-game press conference when they beat the Vikings.

The one that sticks with me is after Russell Wilson came back and beat knocked the Packers out of the playoffs a few years back, Wilson said "I thank God for this teams success". The next year, GB returned the favor and knocked Seattle out and Rogers first words at the post game interview were "I guess God was on my side today". That was classless and really uncalled for....a dig aimed directly at Wilson.
