Aaron Rodgers to practice Thursday; will play Sunday with torn calf muscle *merge*

When I mentioned ROH or HOF, I was talking about Romo not Murray.

Murray did lead the league in rushing, of course he's tired. Yeah, they could've rested him more this season, but that's just crying over spilled milk. My point is this, if we want another ring, Romo will have to air it out.......eventually.

My bad you were referring to Romo and I agree if the Cowboys want to win a championship Romo is going to have to air it out at some point but not sure they can win a championship if it comes to that.

Yeah I figure at this point in his career he can, he has to love going back to Wisconsin.

I'm a pessimist by heart, but I'm bullish on this game. We have a team that can beat them, wish I was a betting man cause I would put a wager on it more than me dressing up like a girl for work if we had a losing season.

The Cowboys can win this game but they can't afford to get down by more than 7 points if they do the Packers will start tasting blood and it's going to lead to a long day. I would wager a large sum on that.

Lets hope we don't find out. I will say Dallas has not been a team who panics when things do not go exactly as planned.

During the game chat I never counted the Cowboys out when they got down by 14 but if the Packers get up by 10 or more the Cowboys will be done.

Another concern is the Cowboys running game which has stalled the past few weeks. Murray has looked like a tired back since his 179 yard performance vs the Bears in week 14 his rushing average has taken a pretty good dip. He's only had one 100 yard game in his last four games. Romo went 6 straight games this season with no more than 29 attempts but since that streak ended he's had over 30 attempts in 3 of his last 4 games.

He's having to do more and the last thing the Cowboys want is for him to have to shoulder the load on Sunday. The last time he was forced to do too much on the road in a playoff game was at Minn during the 09 season and it led to 3 turnovers and a blowout loss. The Cowboys have got to get the running game going on Sunday and control the ball keeping Rodgers off the field.

Should have rested Murray in the second half against colts and all game against the skins

That could be the case but again I don't think the Cowboys believe that. Should they get down by 10 hanging their heads and acting as if they are out of it will lead to a blow out, but this team has not done that and I don't think they will do that should they fall behind. Main thing keep focus and execute. This team will not give up or quite that I am sure of

why Murray is ready to go? Coaches have gotten this team to this point show a little faith in what they are doing.

Panic can set in on the road at Lambeau during a playoff game if you get down by 10 or more. If the Cowboys get down by 10 they have to answer back because another TD by the Packers increasing the lead to 17 would be too difficult to overcome in a playoff atmosphere at Lambeau regardless how much time is left. Once the Packers start putting up points at home with a hot Aaron Rodgers you have to answer back or they'll win going away.

From here on out the Cowboys will have to play virtually mistake free football. They need to win turnover battles and cannot give up big plays. They also need to make a few big plays themselves.

This goes for not only this Sunday, but any future Sundays they may play in the next month or so.

Talk is cheap, big boy! Either make the wager now, or stop hoping for the Packers to "start tasting blood"!

smh

Not against the Colts the division title was on the line for the Cowboys. With Andrew Luck on the other side you can't take any chances you have to make damn sure you have the game won. I had no issue playing the Murray as long as the Cowboys did in that game but playing him as long as they did vs Washington was a mistake.

According to who? You? I laugh at that.

I hope they don't believe that but when you get 2 scores down to a high octane offense it's hard coming back especially facing Aaron Rodgers. We all saw what happened when the Cowboys got 2 scores down to Philly another high octane offense it snow balled. The Cowboys jumped on Philly early in the rematch luckily so because Philly ended up scoring 24 unanswered points. Although the Cowboys defense is better than last season it's still not very good and the team continues having issues in coverage which doesn't bode well facing Aaron Rodgers.

Panic can set in at Seattle where they have lost 1 time in what the last 2 years yet Dallas never panicked I can't say what is going to transpire but this team has shown no signs of panic and I seriously doubt they will panic in GB regardless of how this game starts off. This team does not quit and I don’t see any reason what so ever that they would all of a sudden hang their head for GB or any one.

GB is a good team I will not question that but they can be beat hell Seahawks trashed them, they barely got by Atl they are good they are not gods gift to football.

"If they get down by 10... They're done"

Don't they deserve more from us? Down 14 to the 2nd ranked defense and we pulled it out. We've done it all year.

They deserve us to finally be calm and collected. They certainly have been

and football is a 60 min game not 10 or 15. I don't want to see Dallas fall behind believe me but I also know they will not quit and we have the ability just as well to strike quickly. Hell Romo putting up outstanding numbers himself, Rodgers is not the only top QB playing in this game. Give the boys their dues. Heck if Cowboys go into this game with the fear you are showing they may as well not play the game at all, big bad GB. Cowboys are not chopped liver

We're a high octane offense as well, and we've been a high octane offense against better defenses.

Show me a great defense GB has dominated this year.
