I don't know a lot of the players we just drafted as well as some.

But I pick up on patterns quickly

It seems to me that as I'm reading about the defensive players we drafted this draft that I keep reading about their ability to shed blockers.

A lot of different types this draft. Some seem to indicate coaches desire for Speed and athleticism and others are opposite, slower but more physical. But ability to shed blockers seems a common theme and may help make more sense of all the picks if this is something that marinelli values higher than other stats/measurables.

Just a theory of mine at this point. But it seems to be common thread on first glance.

Another common thread is leadership

Wow. Just wow. Is that all 2013 or is that career? This isn't going to be popular, but that highlight vid dumps all over Donald's highlight mix. I don't know how to gauge the difference in competition and I am not claiming him to be better than Donald, but I see Warren Sapp throughout that mix. His moves, his initial burst, his anticipation and his girth. Oh and of course the dreads haha. I absolutely get your man crush now.

Good observation. I had a similar thought when watching these players.

He's been my #2 pet for awhile now. I felt sorry for those OLinemen.

Ditto on the video. I thought is just another space eater. But he actually is pretty quick and strong for a 300 pounder. I'm liking that pick.

I'm sure many GM doubted his ability to translate what he did in lower level college competition to NFL or else he would have been drafted much higher.

Here is to us hoping that others teams are wrong and we found Rat 2.0
