First of all, congratulations to The Cowboys for being 7-3 so far.As a Buffalo Bills fan, i had the chance to see Drew play on numerous occasions and needless to say that since he's been gone nothing has changed in our town, it has even gotten uglier as we speak.Drew Bledsoe, was and still is an elite QB when the OL gives him enough time to produce, he has a canon of an arm and is extremly durable BUT once the protection dwindles down, he becomes extremly vulnerable and starts making erratic throws.

The key to having him perform on a high level, is to give him adequate protection, something Parcells knows better than anyone else(After all he is the one who taught him everything he knows), therefore if the Cowboys are to beat the Broncos, Drew would need enough time to throw and tear apart The Broncos Defense.I honestly think that The Cowboys should come out firing from all cylinders, throwing the ball and asphyxiating the Broncos defense, it either works or breaks.

To his critics i would say this: Dallas knew what kind of QB he was before acquiering him, and NO it wasn't his fault if we lost in Buffalo while he was here, he simply didn't have the adequate surrounding cast his abilities necessitated as we in Buffalo, have one of the worst GM in the NFL(Tom Donohoe) a man incapable of rebuilding our once proud franchise.JP loseman our so called starting QB was given the starting job, yet even Ray Charles could see that he wasn't ready to perform....

So Stop blaming Bledsoe for all the evils that has NOT happened to ur club, and enjoy ur winning season.Drew Bledsoe has single handedly won at least 4 games for the Cowboys this season, and if it wasn't for that stupid Kicker's (Cortez)missed field goal in Seattle, u guys would have been 8-2 right now.

Best of luck this Thursday.

I blame the whole team for our 3 losses, Bledsoe and the offense included. Look at Seattle, Oakland, Washington. How many points did we score? Not enough for our defense to hold out.

And I don't like Bledsoe simply because he is not a playmaker. Instead, he waits for the play to develop and usually gets sacked. He won't take the game into his hands and win it for us. Others have to do the hard stuff. That bugs me a ton about him and is why he'll probably never win us the big game.

Welcome! One think I like about this board is that we get intelligent points of view from fans of other teams (like SkinsandTerps, Buford, Phoenix-Talon).

Excellent post, couldn't agree more.I've never seen
a QB more scrutinized than Bledsoe.I for one,am glad
he's a cowboy, and i hope he can produce for years to
come.Since Aikman,no real QB or coach.Things have really
turned around.

Thank you Mrs. Bledsoe. I see you were up cooking early this morning.

Must be sad to be a Bills fan, up at 4:59 am on THANKSGIVING, on a COWBOYS site, giving props to Bledsoe, a qb Bills fans couldn't wait to get rid of. Almost hard to believe.

Sizeman, I dropped in on a Bill's site many times when we had your 1st round draft pick. I was amazed that Bledsoe was cut. The folks on the message board I visited didn't all blame him. About 75% or so thought he was doing a pretty fine job. Hence, we only ended up with pick 20 when I thought it would be top 5.

I think if Bledsoe gets time today, we win this one walking away. The question is, will we give him the time?

Glad you're here.

First of all, thank u all for ur kind reception! and yes give him time and he will destroy Denver,If not get ready to suffer through countless sacks and fumbles..i for one hope u guys kick The Broncos ***.

Oh and by the way, i am not Mrs.Bledsoe(Though she IS HOT), and was and will always remain a great fan of Mr.Parcells, before being a Bills die hard fan.

Bledsoe was a good move. Problem now is our OL just bites and gives him almost no time to throw. Bledsoe is a big reason why this team is 7-3. If we still had Vinny my guess is we would have 2 wins right now and maybe only 1 win.

As weird as it sounds...if I had to do it over again I would still go with Henson starting. We would not be any 7-3 that is for sure. We would probaly have 2 or 3 wins right now. But I really think Henson is a guy who when he gets some time he would surprise everyone with how fast he would learn and how fast the game would come to him. I still would have rather played Henson to get our QB of the future ready and have him playing very good next year from all the game experince he woulda gotten.

But I can not really complain. Bledsoe has been very good for us. We are 7-3. We improve the OL next year and hopefully add T.O. and Bledsoe will have his best years ever.

As much I would have liked to go through the learning pains with Henson I will look at it this way. If Bledsoe gives us 3 to 5 good years then we can draft our QB of the future in 2006 2007 or 2008 and have one ready to take over after Bledsoe is done.

Bledsoe could get us a few Super Bowl wins. It would take us longer with Henson.

worst (and probably one of the least accurate) post I have seen all day

he's probably the main reason we beat San Diego, San Fran and Philly the first time...he's played extremely well in all but two or three games and is one of the top rated passers in football...this despite losing our best (and most important OL) a month ago, losing Julius Jones for basically a month and losing one of the better 3rd WR's in football (Crayton) for a month

Drew has performed well this year. I don't think there is any QB that goes without criticism. Saying that, Drew is only as good as his surrounding cast (as many have made clear) and he cannot be counted on to do more with less. Some QB's have done more with less but Drew is not capable of doing that. It is very important that the other key pieces of our offense perform at a satisfactory level if we want to get through this up coming stretch on the positive side of things.

So far Drew isn't what you state he is with that awful Int.

Well, 14-14 and a 40+ yard bomb, 2Tds, 2Ints(one with no consequence), 137 yards...not bad today, u know to be honest with u guys, it's the first time this year that i am watching a whole half from the Cowboys, and let me tell u...This team is solid guys, it's freaking solid....let's ee whay happens during the second half...but remember u were pretty much able to handle one of NFL's so called, top 3 teams....so....
